The cold wind blew ...........
It was late at night, the moon was high up in the sky, it was a cold night, but the sky seem to be closer than normal, why is she alone, why did she decide to stay home today, rather than run off late at night into the wood, just behind her little window ,she stays far away from the city, a country girl who loves to be alone, she has been called alot of names but she didnt really care what others might think of her, she had been through a lot and had so much to tell yet soft spoken and introverted...
There Neveah layed on her bed fast asleep, as it may seem, a smooth smile on her face as tho she was aware of her sourounding, she was dreaming about her last encounter in the woods , the woods she loved soo much the woods that kept calling unto her, she never really saw anyone but she could hear the faint whispers of her name..... 'neveah' - 'neveah' as tho someone or something was beconing on her , out of the darkness , she was never scared , she didnt really feel that way, it was more like a connection she had with the voice , it made her feel warm and she really could not say why, little did she know the demon that dwells deep in the woods , was reaching out to her, there was a connection, she had triggered it from last time she had been in direct contact with its trunk and it was reaching out to her,,,,,,,,, 'neveah...... 'neveah....
.....As she sat down on her napkin just laid at the foot of the tree she felt peaceful, her seemingly long hike into the woods finally paid off, she could rest her head on the back of her new friend, the tree felt like home, as though she was laying on her pillow, the wind softly caressing her skin like a blanket made of pure Cotten, she closed her eyes and listened to the music from the leaves of the tree, they all sang along with the melody of the woods, the sun was covered in light clouds up above, it was a perfectly splendid day indeed....
She had the same exact dream of the last time she was out in the woods, unaware of the downpour of the cold rain around her, it was a beautiful dream, almost vivid, she had fallen asleep in the arms of her new found friend, the oak tree....
Her nap was interrupted by the loud noise in the sky, it was lightning but no sign of rain, that was common around the mountains close to the country side she resides.
Her little house was made up of two rooms, one masters with a bathroom which her aunt stayed in, and a little store room which was converted to a kids room for neveah, that small space was all she had known for over 6 years of moving in with her aunt Nam Fidausi..
Nam was the youngest of three girls, living with her parents before the foreigners invaded their little village and took most of the grown ups with them, she was left with her mother at the age of 12 luckily for her, she never saw her sister grace and glory again!
