There it is in her hands, the journal written by her beloved's father. For she loved him so much, all she wants is to know him better. This way, maybe she can love him better.

She knew being secretive about being curious itself is a sin and she should continue on what she's planning but the curiosity built up inside her insisted.

The father's age was almost the same as the hunter when he wrote the journal and his wife not far off his age as well. They lived in the same house in the same forest as a family of three. As it was written, they continued to live a peaceful life...until the plague.

They get up as soon as the sun rises to hunt for food, their favorite was a rabbit stew. The husband described his wife as the goddess of the forest for she is a beauty within and outside.

He described the hunter as a lively and smart kid. It said that the hunter really resembles his mother, he wanted his wife to witness their child growing but the plague didn't allowed her to.

The last pages are, the husband was terrified, not for his life but for his son's life. The hunter's mother was a servant from the castle, the one who has it all. Once it lands on their palms, it's all theirs alone and no one can get away from them. When his wife passed away, it soon reached the kingdom. Though they may have hidden far from the kingdom, the kingdom may be on it's way to claim what they took.

He knew the king, the kingdom where the princess is from. It consists of greedy human puppets who would eradicate any threats or anything that may hurt their pride and egos.

The prince, who killed a young lady with a red hair who he had taken an interest to for refusing to marry him.

The queen, who's drowning herself in jewelries and diamonds. Who were rumored to bathe herself in the blood of the slaves in order to stay young.

The king, who doesn't deserves to be a king in every way. He is known as the seven deadly sins in a human form.

Lastly, the people at the castle who's either too blind to gold or chose to be blinded by the gold.

The father was truly terrified. He trained his son to hunt, self-defense and passed him a words of wisdom as he felt the time is ticking. He didn't want his son's heart to drown in despair, he wanted him to be happy, to be free watching how the blue river flows and reflects the sky and to experience love like he did to his wife.

Aside from the words of encouragement and knowledge about hunting, this house is the only thing he left for his son.

The rest are blank pages.
