“Should we tell the other boys?” I asked quietly as the ferris wheel began to turn again. “Not yet,” Harry said, his brow furrowing in thought. “Give it a few days first. I think they already kind of know, though.” I nodded and leaned my head on his shoulder.
His phone buzzed, and he pulled it out of his pocket, tapping in the passcode. “Lou says they’re waiting by the car,” he said, putting it back in his pocket. “What are you doing tonight?”
I really didn’t have any plans, but I knew my dad and sister had missed me these past few days. “I should probably spend some time with my family,” I said. “I think the boys miss you too, why don’t you hang out with them tonight?” He sighed and nodded as the ferris wheel came to a stop.
I locked my fingers with his and walked with him to the car, making sure to walk slowly so this moment would last as long as possible.

“Dad?” I called into the house, the smell of cooking food permeating my nostrils and making my stomach growl.
“Dakota!” he called back, walking out on the kitchen and embracing me in a bear hug. “Where’ve you been?”
“Just with some friends,” I smiled, wrapping my arms around his huge torso. “We’ve missed you!” he said, and my little sister Lily came running out of her room.
“Sissy!” she yelled, pouncing on me and wrapping her tiny arms around my neck. “Hi munchkin!” I said, kissing the top of her head and setting her on the ground. “How’s my favorite little pest?” I asked with a wink, and she scrunched her adorable face up and stuck her tongue out. “Good. Marissa came over today, but you weren’t here.”
“Oh…why didn’t she just call me?” I asked, realizing I hadn’t seen my best friend in over a week. “I don’t know, I’m only seven!” she said, throwing her hands up in the air. I laughed and took advantage of her vulnerability, tickling her until she collapsed on the ground in a fit of laughter.
“Girls, dinner’s ready!” my dad yelled from the kitchen. I looked at my little sister, who had recovered from her laugh attack and was just standing up. “Race you to the kitchen, loser has to do the dishes!” I said, and moved back to the starting line we had created a few years before. “You’re on!” she said, and I laughed at the determination on her little face.

-Harry’s POV yayyy-
“Pizza!”
“No, Chinese!”
“Nope, it’s my turn to choose, remember?”
“No it’s not!”
I sighed and rolled my eyes at Zayn and Niall bickering in the kitchen, trying to decide what to have for dinner. Choosing food was never easy when One Direction was involved.
I wasn’t even hungry, all I could think about was Dakota. It had only been an hour, but I already missed her. I missed her smile, and the way she bit her lip when she was thinking. I missed her voice, and her laugh. I just missed her.
Niall had been unusually quiet during the car ride home, and had only talked when someone asked what was for dinner. Typical Niall, always thinking about his stomach.
“That’s it, I’m deciding! We’re having Mexican!” Liam said, and Zayn grumbled. “Fine,” Niall said, and I laughed at the look on the Irish boy’s face.
