If you watched the fresh kiss of a razor stain her arm
Would you still say she is an "attention whore"?
After watching her midnight cries would your belief even hold true?
Would you still laugh at her conflicts that still scream out
when she just wished she would of stayed in bed that morning,
because it would've been easier to listen to her own thoughts than yours?
Would you still inject those needles of poisonous words?
The ones she wished formed a brown bag around her head,
because then at least you wouldn't see the pain spread across her face.
Would you still say "She's just imagining it all." after looking at heaping piles of pills?
She just wants to fall from society and jump into the drowning of her thoughts.
Maybe you'll say "Wounds do heal." She disagrees,
but the truth is that they do. Time does heal every wound,
physical or emotional. They will mend us with stitches, band-aids, or even casts
until it was only a memory, but that doesn't mean-
there is an excuse for your behavior.
So next time you see this girl please put arms around her,
Because last week she had the cops called from sobs of other friends
who she said "Goodbye, I love you." to.
Now whisper about her faults being the best beauty you've seen,
Because sometimes the most believable words are from strangers.
They seem to be worth more when they aren't repeated everyday
from the same voice. The one that seems like lies
just because they are your friends and maybe they have to.
