Misunderstood

Movie Night

"We still have 20 more minutes.." He mumbled down his breath. 20 more minutes?

I halt and removed my hands that were gripped by Gray. I ignored his questioning remark and asked, "But where are we going?!"

He looked at his watch, "Please Chelsea.. We are totally going to be late.."

"But first, tell me-"

He shoved his arms below my thigh, now it looks like he's carrying me. He ran while I just, "Ahhhh!!!! Put me down!!!" I hit his arms yet he doesn't reply and still kept going.

We reached the parking lot where Gray's car at, he dropped me at the passenger seat, quickly closing the door, and hurried over to the driver's seat. "Well, that's not fair.." I crossed my arms, a frown at my face.

He started driving and look at me. "You looked cute when you're frowning.." he smiled before looking back at the road. I think about what or where he'll take me.. Is he going to a cafe? A shopping mall? The zoo? Well, I've been dreaming in one.. The library? A carnival?!! That one sounds fun to me.. THE CIRCUS?!!!! Now, that's the best.

"What's so funny, Chee?"

I snapped out of my imagination, looking at him and shaking my head. He just smirked in reply and I started thinking again. Okay.. I don't like this feeling, did he want to send me to a haunted place? I don't like that. He wants to captured me?!! And kill me?!!! No..no.. That will never happen right? I hope..

"We're here.."

"Uh.. What?"

I looked out the window, to see a theatre movie showing out. "Y-You're taking me to a-a m-movie?"

"You don't like it?" he frowned

"No!! No, it's just that, I rarely watch movies in the theatre." I lied. I don't like people knowing about my fear, especially horror movies.

"Well, it's time to get used to it." he smiled, hurried to the passenger's door and opened the door. Stepping outside, hitting the cold air breeze. Thank god Gee's sweater, as in my sweater, the clothing makes me warm from all that breeze. What is this material made from? It's so soft and warm!!!

We walked in together, side by side, noticing that this day, a lot of couples just arrived, hand in hand, walking to the room theatre. I felt a hand entwining with mine like all those other couples did in the theatre. I blushed a little and tried to hide it, yet still he noticed it. Damn. We walked till we reached the ticket stand where the movie tickets are sold.

"How may I help you sir?"

"Uh.. Here.." Gee gave his phone to the person in charge showing our booking tickets that's in Gee's phone. Technology had advanced so fast.

"Thank you sir.. Now please wait for a moment.." He handed back the phone to Gee.

The sound of the printing process surrounded the atmosphere while me and Gee, still entwining hands together. "Here you go.. You're movie will start right away. Room 3, head left, go straight then turn right. Thank you and come back again!"

We both nodded and said than you to the person, he answered with a nodded and went back to the next customer. "Uh.. Gee?"

"Yeah?"

"What are we watching?"

"Insidious 2."

Crap. I already watched Insidious 1 and it was a horrible experience. My friend dared me to watch this stupid movie and yes, that movie haunted me all night till I can't sleep, but instead be awake all day and can't go to school. Yeah, paranoid but yes, it happened. Now my life will come to an end, hauntings will torture me to death. Bye happy world, welcome the dark world.
