Silence filled the room as Nash and I stood looking at each other in pure shock. My mind was clogged with questions but the only one I allowed in was where the hell did I go wrong? It had been literally five minutes and neither of us had moved. Nash shuffled a little, bringing his hands back to his sides. My eyes filled with tears as the pang in my heart made me realize that he didn't love me. "Cameron, I-" I cut him off before he could say anything by running. Where was I running to? Not the slightest clue, my feet were moving faster than my mind. I knew what he was going to say. He would say, 'Cameron, I loved you as a best friend nothing more.' or 'Cameron, I though you were straight?' I finally found myself in front if Taylor's door knocking hard.

"Hello?" He opened the door and looked at me, "What happened!" I didn't reply, more tears started falling. He took a step towards me and took me into his arms. "Who's ass do I have to beat?"

"N-Nash doesn't love m-me." I explained.

"He doesn't know what he's missing." Taylor gave me a weak smile.

"Do you love me?" I asked.

"Of course I love you, what kind of question is that?" He laughed. I did something then that I never ever thought I would do. I kissed him. He pulled away, "You don't mean this. Your just angry right now and I refuse to let you do something you will regret later."

I smiled and hugged him, "Your amazing, Tay Tay."

"Come on let's put you to bed." He said, taking my arm and walking me to his room.

"I haven't stayed since-" He cut me off.

"That's over now." Taylor got into the bed and lifted up the covers for me to get in. I smiled and jumped beside him.

"Taylor your my best friend." I smiled at him.

"Cameron, your my best friend too."

💕💕 Next Morning 💕💕

I woke up to an empty bed. "Figures." The smell of just cooked pancakes flooded through the house. I smiled and leaped out of Taylor's bed, running down the stairs.

"Hey, I made-"

"Pancakes. I know, you make the best." I answered for him, sitting on one of his barstools.

"Here you go." He passed me a plate.

"Thanks bro." We ate on silence for a while until I felt Taylor's eyes burning into my skin.

"You know your gonna have to talk to him at some point." He said, as I drug my fork around my empty plate.

"No I don't." I said simply.

"You can't run forever, Cam." I looked up at him.

"Watch me." I got up, putting my plate in the sink. "But I do have a question."

"What is it?" He asked, standing up abandoning his plate.

"Who the hell is Amber?"

"Amber who?" He asked me.

"Nash likes a girl named Amber." I said.

"Oh god. Amber Meadows." He said, "The school whore."

"What! He likes a whore?!" I exclaimed.

"Guess so, seeing that's the only Amber besides lesbian Amber who is dating Mary."

"I can't believe this." I replied, leaning against the counter. "What is so wrong with me that he can't love me?"

Taylor hugged me, "You will find someone even more amazing than him I swear."

"No one likes me." I cried into his shoulder.

"You will find someone I promise. Now go home because we have school tomorrow." He said, pushing me gently out of the house.

"Love you, Tay Tay." I yelled.

"Love you too, Cammy kins!" He yelled back.

☁️☁️ monday ☁️☁️

I awoke to my alarm clock blaring, I slapped it off the nightstand, watching it's batteries fly out. I drug myself out if bed, and got up and went to my then bathroom to get ready. I admit that I look like the Grim Reaper this morning, I combed my hair and put on jeans and a hoodie with my grey vans and left.

The school was eerily quiet,
but then again, it's a Monday morning. I searched the halls for Nash, not seeing him, I darted to my first class. I did really good avoiding people until the bell signally school was over rang. I took the shortcut to the parking lot like usual when someone grabbed me and pushed me into the brick wall. "We need to talk."

I looked up at Nash's now dull blue eyes staring at me, I wasn't going to lie I was scared. "I don't have anything to say to you."

He grabbed my wrist, yanking me back to him, "Don't play with me, Cameron."

He never calls me Cameron, I shoved off him. "Leave me alone!" I repeated, walking away.

"Cameron what the fuck!" He ran over to me. "What's your problem!"

"My problem is you!" I screamed.

"I didn't do anything!" He screamed back.

"Fuck off." I ran off, him grabbing my hoodie and keeping me in place.

"Why are you mad at me right now!?" He yelled.

"You really wanna know why?" I asked.

"Yes, please give me an explanation."

I took a deep breath, "I'm trying so hard to make you look at me the way I look at you but I know you never have. I'm trying to make you consumed by me, the way that I'm completely invested in you but I'm afraid that you will never be. I don't blame you, everyone is better than me. I wish that I could make you love me, but I can't and that's not fair because you made me love you."
