What happens when your heart
Hurting and aching,
Decides to give up, lose the fight for what is right?
The flaws in the world are cruel
So much hatred and lies.
"Ugly", "fat", "slut", over and over,
People looking at you differently
Because of a stupid false rumor.
From liked to hatred,
We all have flaws, but when there's gossip
Confront the person,
Ask them for the truth.
I'm sick of getting mentally beaten up
Broken inside
Waiting for someone to mend my heart
Just to get it shattered again.
The stares,
The glares,
The spine-chilling eye contact.
I want it to all go away,
I sometimes wish that I could go away.
Run from this wretched place,
Feel free and happy for once.
But in the end,
I'm like a caged up bird,
Just waiting for food and attention from a guardian to survive.
