Kate Alisur was only 1 when her parents died. She was put into foster care right away. She wasn't told how they died, only that they were both 22 when they died.

Kate has spent the past 10 years in a small orphanage in london. Strange things seemed to happen around her, so she earned the nickname "Krazy Kate." She didn't have any friends, mainly because the other kids knew she was strange. Or because they were afraid of her.

The headmistress is the worst of them all. She treats all of the children like pests. But, she is the worst to Kate.

"All right you brats! Time to get up!" The headmistress yelled as she burst through the girl's bedroom door. The headmistress left and Kate could hear her muffled voice through the wall, presumably waking the boys up.

At breakfast, while all of the other kids chatted away, Kate sat and read a book. Headmistress surveyed the children as she walked around he room. She stopped behind Kate, who was too absorbed in her book to notice. Headmistress picked up Kate's book. "Hey!-" Kate stopped before protesting. Headmistress stared at Kate, with an evil look in her eyes. "Well, well, well." Headmistress said as she paced up and down the isle. "We have a girl...... Reading."

Headmistress announced to the entire orphanage. "Why are you not socializing with friends? Oh wait!" The headmistress paused as she surveyed the room "you. Don't. Have. Any. Because you're, a FREAK." Kate could hear the room buzzing with whispers. A few people were even laughing. "Stand up!" The headmistress boomed at Kate. Kate stood up immediately, she knew what was coming. Once. Twice. Thrice. Soon Kate lost count of the times headmistress whipped her hands with her belt. But all of the sudden, it stopped.

The belt was gone from the headmistress' hand, and was instead on the floor. A red mark was across her face. "You.... you.... you HIT ME" the headmistress stared out shocked, but it turned to confusion. Headmistress realized Kate couldn't have hit her, her hands stayed where they were before. "Wait... this is one of your tricks. FREAK." Headmistress raised her hand, ready to strike Kate. Kate didn't know what came over her, she felt extreme anger, she tried to suppress the strange things, but she couldn't anymore. The anger and frustration flowed through her, and finally. It exploded.
