The Wand Chooses The Wizard

Kate was mystified, all of these people she presumed to be witches and wizards were in front of her. This was actually happening! "Where should we go first?" Newt asked Kate "how about-there!" Said said, pointing at Ollivander's an old wand shop. "Excellent choice Kate! We'll get your wand first!" Newt exclaimed. Being back in Diagon Alley, Newt seemed almost more excited than Kate. Newt hadn't been here since he was in Hogwarts himself! They walked into the dark wand shop, and a peculiar looking man climbed down from a ladder to greet them. "Hello Newt, and who is this?" He inquired. "I'm Kate!" She said, feeling ecstatic. She was going to be a real witch! "Am I going to get a wand? What will it look like? Is everyone's different?" Kate was asking a million questions a second. Newt chuckled at her excitement. "Now now dear," Olivander said, walking over to a wonky shelf filled with wand boxes "it is the wand who chooses he wizard, so we'll have to find which one chooses you." "COOL!!" Kate said, too loudly. "Hmmmm..... willow... springy... unicorn hair.... here," Olivander handed Kate the wand "try this" Kate was stunned, she was holding a REAL wand. She pointed the wand at the shelf of books, the wand made a hissing noise as sparks shot out of it, and immediately set it down "it's ok dear," said Olivander patently "let's try.... this one.... no....... it's too.... unyielding?...... dragon heartstring... but 14 inches? To such a small child.... I've never...." Olivander muttered to himself as he pulled out the next wand and placed it gingerly into Kate's hand. Immediacy sparks flew out the end, but Kate somehow knew this was right. She had found her wand, or rather her wand had found her. "Dragon heartstring, unyielding flexibly cypress wood." Kate read the side of the box with the content of it scribbled onto the side. "This looks right." Olivander said with a smile." "But isn't that wand too big?" Newt intersected "I mean, Kate's so small, and 14 inches?" "The wand chooses the wizard mr. Scamander. And this wand has chosen Kate.
