My Heart Is Yours

Chapter 4

At the age of 5, Cilan got into a terrible accident. He was supposed to die on that day but he was given a second chance at life. That blessing came with a curse, it gave him dark powers that are unstable and with just one trigger he will lose control.

"Wow! I never seen an amusement park before!" Iris shouted with awe as she looked around, looking at rides, food vendors, and many more.

"Just being here brings a fruitful flavor." Cilan said changed out of his work uniform, he is now wearing a light green long sleeves shirt and white pants.

Those two weren't alone. Chili and Cress joined them once they closed the restaurant early right after their last customers left. They are both wearing shirts that matched their hair colors and the same white pants that Cilan is wearing.

"Things changed from last year." Chili said.

"Yeah. I guessed that they want to do something fresh so they can maintain in business." Cress said.

Iris run towards the rollercoaster and heard people screaming from it as they go down fast. "That looks fun." She smiled.

"You have thrilling taste for rides like that." Cilan spoke standing next to her.

She looked at him "we should go on it." She said which made him surprised.

"Sorry Iris. That sort of ride is not my taste." He smiled weakly.

Iris smirked "don't tell me that you're scared of riding this thing? How childish." She said.

Cilan knew right away what she's doing "well, I had been reading on websites and watching T.V. that there are accidents occurred while riding a rollercoaster. But, seeing how people are getting off that thing alive means that the safety is 100%." He said fell for it.

"Let's go!" Iris grabbed his arm and dragged him towards the ride. Cilan shouldn't had said that last sentence.

As those two headed off the ride, there were six people watching them but had their eyes on Iris. "We found the Dragon Princess. It's time to execute the plan into action." The person wearing the brown hat told to the five people.

"Yes, commander Carlson." They replied.

Three minutes had passed and the rollercoaster is now over. Iris got off with ease and without feeling nauseous but Cilan on the other hand is feeling his stomach moving like waves.

"That was fun!" Iris said helps Cilan get off the coaster.

"Yeah...The flavor was overwhelming..." He spoke weakly keeping himself from vomiting in public despite him not eating anything before attending this ride.

The two begin to walk towards Chili and Cress who are watching an animal performer letting her animals do tricks for the crowd of people who are amazed.

"How did you two enjoyed your 'love ride'?" Chili asked teasingly looking at his brother and Iris.

Those two cheeks grow red knowing what Chili had suggested "we weren't on that sort of ride!" Iris yelled "that's right! We were on a rollercoaster!" Cilan also yelled.

Chili placed both his hands behind his head and grinned "I know. You two were riding on it and you were seated next to each other, right?" He said which was true.

Before Cilan can give him an answer, he heard a voice inside his head that called his name "there are people who are after the Princess." It spoke.
