(a/n i don't mean to offend anyone with this poem. this is basically just for mother's day. i low key don't think this counts as a poem though)
thank you, 엄마 (mom in Korean)
for getting up early just to make me lunch,
for staying up until 2 to work,
for being by my side,
for praising me,
for consoling me when i'm sad,
giving me advice when i need it the most,
telling me that "it's okay,"
listening to my long list of problems,
giving me almost anything i ask for...
thank you.
if it weren't for you, i wouldn't have been able to live.
i appreciate all you have done and i don't know how to repay you back...
someday, in the future, i hope that i can do the same for you.
