Chapter eight

(KATIES POV)

So as we are walking over to the pavilion and Mingus screams

"race you there" so we bolted to the pavilion I think I forgot to mention I'm a pretty fast runner we were neck and neck that's when I pulled my trick

"ow" I fell to the ground and " Twisted" my ankle

Mingus stopped right in his tracks and ran back to me he bent down

" oh my god Katie are you ok"

" I think I twisted my ankle" I pretended to cry to make the act believable he held out his hand I grabbed it and pulled him down

I got up and bolted for the pavilion before he got up and chased after me. He was literally right behind me I saw Norman by a table with Steven, Emily, and Chandler

Norman had just set his stuff down and was still standing I jumped on him and he held me up I scream " I win"

" ya ya only cause you cheated"

"all is far in love and war"I mock him

" ooh so this is love now" he says laughing I looked over and Chandler was staring at Mingus and let me tell you if looks could kill Mingus would be dead right now.

I grabbed food from the buffet and sat between Chandler and Mingus. Steven spoke up " So after we eat Robert wants to talk to us"

Norman looked over at him " What do you think he wants to talk to you and Katie about"

" I don't know I hope it's something good" I blurt out.

We all finished eating around noon and that's when it happened

"STEVEN KATIE CAN YOU COME HERE PLEASE" rob yelled from across the the pavilion Steven and I got up from picnic table he wrapped his arm around me as we walked towards him.

We sat at the picnic table far from everybody else " So Steven Katie we don't feel like having additions again when everyone is already comfortable with you"

" Robert what are you saying"

" I want your daughter to play Skyler who is Daryl's long Lost daughter and Carls love interest"

" I don't know it's up to her"

" do I get time to think about it?"

" of course sweet heart"

"thank you" I get up and walk back to the table " so what did he want to talk to you two about" Norman asked nervous to know the answer

" well he wanted to know if I wanted to play Skyler who is your long lost Daughter"

" that's amazing" Mingus said m

" ya and I would also be Carls love interest" chandlers face turned red, Mingus was glaring at him

" well he said he was going to give me time to think about it and I think I know what I'm going to do"

"Really ?" they all say in sync and shocked " Ya" I get up from the table and walk over to the table where Robert and Steven are still in deep discussion

" Umm... Excuse me Mr.Robert" they both looked up at me

" Yes Katie"

" I Would love to be on the show"

" Wonderful" he yells in excitement Steven asks " are you sure Katie you don't want more time to think about this" "I'm sure I want to do this" the next thing I know Robert is hugging me
