The four of us went separate ways after that private record. Hold on, Frida and I were in the same car.

It was truly quiet during the ride. I was feeling a little low, because I knew that Frida would leave in a few hours.

"Frida..."

"Anna?"

She read my mind that we called each other at the same time.

"You go ahead." I told her.

"No, you go ahead." She forced.

I sighed. "Frida, I'm glad you never gave up on me." I looked at her. "I'm glad you came into my life as a big sister and a best friend. And now, you're way beyond those two. I can't stop loving you for that. Just thinking of you makes my heart light. Oh I love you. Your turn..."

She sighed too. She put her hand on top of mine. "I'm glad you came too. I might be dead after all those circumstances. I might be gone after my divorces and those losses, but your love kept me alive. I know there were times that I was on the brink of letting go, but you're the reason I stayed. I may be leaving, but I'm always, always here in your heart. Just don't let me go."

I softly sang. "I won't let you go, no, no, no..."

She smiled and slowly moved closer to me. "You deserve more than these words." Then I felt her again on my lips. "Hey driver, keep this under wraps. And please, please, please, she's mine. She may be Agnetha the goddess to you, but don't forget me."

"There's no room for that attitude." I told her. "You are my queen, Frida." I touched her face.

I

t was late at night. We were beside each other on the bed.

"Have you ever tried putting your nose above mine?" I asked her. "You know, kind of, fitting it..."

"Did I pass my crazy ideas to you?" She poked my nose. Then we laughed. "Okay. I'll try."

Before Frida leaned on me, she asked me again. "Haven't we done this like a thousand times? We almost did on live television, remember?"

"It's not the same as that. I meant this one to be closer. Like instead of a kiss using the lips, we use our noses."

"I get your point." Then she sighed. "I'll try."

Then she moved closer to me again. Her nose was on top of mine. I could feel the bridge of her nose on top of my curved bridge. In fact, she had to angle her head to be closer.

"There! It actually fits." She laughed.

"Yes, just like you and me." I responded then I giggled.

"Nothing changed, Anna. Fate brought us here." Then Frida moved back, just to let us breathe. "We're like puzzle pieces, you know?"

"If we're puzzle pieces, then there are more to form the picture."

"If I tell you that we are the missing pieces that actually fit; pieces that were meant to be; pieces looked upon but never tried; pieces that were once guessed to never fit, then we truly are puzzle pieces."

"I still don't get it."

She moved to my side. "It was trial and error between us. There were a lot of pieces or people who became part of our lives. They surround us since the beginning, like those two guys. Without them, we wouldn't figure out who we really are to each other.

"We denied each other at first. We tried to be happy with our respective men. People thought we don't belong. Time was trying to keep us distant from each other. Just when they thought that we won't fit, Fate already set us to be the missing pieces of that big picture of love. We the last missing pieces beside each other." Then she poked my nose. "We fit together, sweetheart."

"Why do you always make me blush? If I can count all of those moments you made me blush, your number is greater than Björn's." I giggled.

"I cannot help it, you know? Even you made me blush more than Benny did, not even the men after him. And it's the same old reason over and over." Then she pinched my cheeks, "You're still the cutie with that pretty irresistible smile of yours."

"You're so sweet Frida."

"I don't know what happens after this, but I just wanted to make sure that you and I won't break apart anymore. And I want you to know that my love for you never changed. It never faded."

"Frida, I..." I bit my lip.

"Yes?"

"I love you, and if I have to repeat it to you every day, I'll do it."

"Oh sweetie," she pulled me for a hug. "I love you too and nothing can change that. Thank you for keeping me alive."

"And thank you for picking me up, love. I really really really love you."

I was in her arms. As she stroked my hair, I felt like I truly belong to her. I touched her chest, and her heart beated in sync to mine. I know I'm exaggerating, but I felt it's true.

It all made sense to me. Sometimes, the romance that we wanted is already in front of us. We may have denied it, but if it's fate, then fate it is.

There were trials, but if you love someone, you won't give up on him or her. Face it together, and you'll overcome.

I moved on. She moved on. It was hard for us over the past years with a series of bad timing, but the love story won't end without me plus her together to forever.
