Christian's POV

After the episode in the bathroom and the class we had it was time for lunch. I knew it was going to be really awkward and tense because the way how Sara talked about her I knew she was in love with her.

I walked to the cafeteria with Sara and we got our lunch and found a decent table.

"So if she asks why you left this morning are you going to tell her?"

"Tell her what?" she pretended not to know what I was talking about but she knew.

"About your feelings for her. If you really love her then you should tell  her how you feel. She might not return your feelings but it's better to tell her and get it off your chest so that you can move on." I felt really bad for her but that's life. You can't always get what you want. Sometimes you just have to move on and let that person go. Everyone always thought I never had friends but I did. But no one from high school knows that because my old best friend doesn't want anyone to know we were ever friends.

It was middle school and that's when I first realised I was gay and I was crushing on my bestfriend. Didn't want to tell him because I didn't know how he would react and I didn't want him to hate me either. In the end I mustered up enough courage to tell him.

'Flashback'

It was the last day of school before summer and I couldn't wait to spend it with my bestfriend. I was so excited when the bell rang I looked for him and when I saw lucas waved frantically trying to get his attention. When he saw me he jogged over.

'Hey loser.'

'Hey weirdo'

We looked at each other then burst out laughing.

'So are you coming over or do you want to go to our spot?'

'Let's go to our spot because I have something to tell you.'

I was nervous but I finally have enough courage to tell him so I'm not backing down.

We left school and went to our spot. It was tree we found a day we were just walking around and it appeared nobody knew about it so we claimed it as our own.

When we got there we sat down and it was silent for a bit when Lucas decided to break it.

'So what do you have to tell me? '

I took a deep breath because I was nervous and my hands started to sweat but I still told him anyway hoping for the best. But it didn't go as planned.

'L-lucas I'm i-in l-l-love with you.'

I squeezed my eyes tight and I waited for the punch but it never came. When I opened eyes he didn't look angry but ashamed and disgusted. And that look he was giving me broke my heart.

'I can't believe this and were supposed to be friends. This is so wrong and disgusting you should be ashamed of your self. We can't be friends anymore. Lose my number, don't call or text me. If anyone asks we were never friends and just....stay away from me.'
