I watched as the small girl ran around her room. The enemy's child. She was playing with her stuffed animals. She looked so innocent, carefree, happy.

I knew what she was to me, but she was too small to know. She may be an early shifter but I didn't want to ruin her childhood.

So I would wait.

I would wait the full twelve years, until my beauty turns eighteen. Then i will come.
