~Scarlet's POV~
People say everything happens for a reason.
Me?
I think it's a load of bull to be honest.
My dad didn't die for a reason, it was by accident, a drunk driver crashed into him and sent his car flying over the bridge into the river below. He never did a thing wrong, and because of the drunk driver I've grown up without a father, I don't even remember him that well. Sure my mother had raised me and she will always be my hero, but every time I saw my friends with their fathers, I grew jealous because I wanted what they had. I still do. I always will. I wanted that fatherly figure in my life. That's something I'm always going to miss.
Did I mention I was 4 when I lost my dad? I mean I was too young to fully understand, but seeing my mother cry every day and night I knew that what ever had happened to my father had to be bad.
I'm very grateful for my mother though. I know she's had it hard since I was born and I appreciate everything she has done for me.
"SCAR!".
I jumped outta my skin by the sound of my best friend screaming down my ear.
"Jesus Christ Ry! Why'd you do that?!". I glared up at her as I sat up on my bed with a hand over my ear.
She just shrugged and sat crossed legged on the floor. Yea, she's a weird child.
"Cause you weren't answering me! Anyways I came over to drop something off for you!". She grinned as she handed me a huge rolled up poster that I only just realised she was holding.
I frowned slightly as I took it off her and unravelled it.
My eyes widened as a huge grin formed on my lips, "Dude this is awesome! Thank you!".
I stared at the Aston poster as I hung it up next to all the other's i have of JLS. If you haven't noticed I am a huge JLSter! Been supporting them ever since they auditioned on the X Factor. It would be my dream to see them in concert! I've never had the chance to go unfortunally. When they announced their split I was completely devastated! I wished I could go and see them on their goodbye tour, I've been begging my mum but she has never said anything about the matter.
"SCAR!".
Once again Rylie shouted down my ear, I quickly turned to face her smacking her around the back of the head, "Will you shut up?!".
She just smirked and stood up, "Oh, your mum said she would like a word with you!".
I giggled at her posh accent then jumped up from my bed and ran downstairs with Ry following. I made my way into the kitchen and smiled at my mum who was sat at the table reading.
"You wanted to talk to me mum?".
She looked up from the paper and smiled as she placed it down on the table, "Yes I would, now I know how much you two girls want to go and see JLS, Ry, your mum and I have been talking and we've decided you can both go".
My eyes widened in shock, what bloody good timing! Hence the sarcasm, "But mum! The tickets will be all sold out now! The tour has already begunl!".
My mum smirked as she stood up and pulled something from a draw, "Here you go girls! Tickets for their concert this Saturday night! René and I got the tickets when they first went on sale, I just wanted to surprise you!".
(A/N: René is Rylie's mother)
My eyes widened even more as Rylie and I started screaming and jumping up and down, "WHAT?! OH MY GOD! THANK YOU SO MUCH MUM!".
