Raul's POV:

I sat there wide eyed, paralyzed in fear. My mind was racing a mile a minute, afraid of what was going to happen next. There had to be some way out of this. The sound of a ringtone startled me, the man picked it up. He was occupied with something else, this could be my only chance to take action and survive. Thinking fast, I quickly unlocked the door and jumped out, I heard the loud bang of a gunshot fire at me, and felt a sharp pain hit the side of my forearm. I stumbled onto the rough ground and landed in a grassy ditch.

My world turned black and starry like a night sky.

Merche's POV:

I was headed to the city of Madrid back to my sister's flat. I lived there with her, but I wasn't there very often. I was constantly on the run. I was a journalist, and many people have been out for me lately, I never feel safe anymore. The sun was starting to set, the sky was getting darker now.

I saw something out of the corner of my eye, it looked like a person. My curiosity got the better of me, I pulled over and stepped out of the car. It was a person, a man, and he looked injured. "Are you alright?" I asked him, he did not respond. "He might be dead" I thought, I took out my makeup mirror and placed it under his nose. The mirror fogged up with a vapor, he was breathing.

"It would just be cruel to leave him here, he might die then" I thought, so I dragged him into the backseat of my car, and drove him to the hospital.

I drove quickly to the emergency center of the hospital and met the reception lady. "I found a man lying in the ditch, he has a gunshot wound on his forearm, I do not know who he is, but bringing him here was my best option." I said to her. "Alright, we will get our doctors over as fast as possible." I saw the doctors go over to my car and open the back doors, they lifted him onto the medical cart, and rush him to a room.

Because I was a journalist, it was my natural instinct to follow them to see what was happening. "Sorry ma'am you may not come into the operation room until tomorrow". Said one of the doctors. "Alright," I said and left the hospital.

I would be back tomorrow.
