The Artifact
Jacob Newton lives a normal life for a 13 year old. Well at least its normal to him. His father’s left when he was barely nine. His mothers a business woman in his absence trying to make the money her family desperately needs to survive and thrive in Washington DC. Jacob’s sister Kathy who is merely five years old depends on him to survive. Jacob wants to escape the life he deems boring. He wants to escape and travel the world to see things he’s never seen before. But he cant, he knows he can’t. His sister needs him. But when a object he finds lying around in the Smithsonian transports him to a completely new world that’s stuck in war, and Peril. Will he want to come back once its all over with. Or will he want to stay. Will it make him stay. Will it make him leave. Cause after all it isn’t even Jacobs decision. Not that he knows that. But who is it up to you might ask. It’s up to the one who started it all. The Artifact.
