"We're still soaking," said Iris as she began wringing out the water in her clothes and hair.
"Yeah, sadly we are..." said Estel. He pulled his shirt away from his body and sighed. It was very visible that the water was making his shirt stick to his toned body. But despite the situation, Iris' view her of Estel was worth it. "Do you think you can maybe make some clothes pop up for us?" He then asked.
"Huh?" Iris said as she snapped back to reality. "Oh um yeah, I could try..." She cleared her throat and pictured some clothes in her head. She honestly had no idea what she was doing but then a grunt from her bag caught her attention. She almost forgot about Steven. She quickly pulled him out of her bag to make sure he wasn't soaking like her. She sighed with relief knowing that he was dry.
"Hey! Look what the tide washed in! How was your time in the Ocean Realm?" Steven said when his face popped up on one of the pages.
"It was wet," Estel replied with a chuckle.
"Yeah it was good, despite Hydra coming at us," Iris added.
"Oh, dear...anyway do you mind helping me stretch my legs a bit?" Steven asked.
Iris then replied, "Yeah of course...haka gnu imp pol qui." Steven was then back on his feet in his usual red suit. "Okay now, how exactly can I magic some clothes for us?" She asked the book...human...Steven.
"Just think of the clothes and snap your fingers," he casually said.
To which Iris replied, "Wait really? Just like that?"
"Yup...there isn't a spell in a book for that. Fortunately it might be one of the easiest non-verbal spells." He said.
"Alright," Iris said when she cleared her throat and thought of clothes. Well, it was the medieval realm so she thought of a dress that would fit in. She thought of the dress Clara Oswald wore when she met Robin Hood. With that thought in her head, she snapped her fingers, and a puff of smoke engulfed Iris before it disappeared within seconds. It revealed a dry Iris with a nice red dress and a gold head peace. There were floral patterns in a darker reddish maroon on the skirt and jewelry such as rings and a necklace to accent her features.
"You look nice..." Estel said with a smile. "Now how about me?"
Iris giggles and said, "Thank you, and of course!" She thought of something that Estel would wear. It didn't take long. She snapped her fingers and the smoke engulfed Estel. He was then revealed wearing tight brownish gray jeans, a brownish red shirt that went down to his upper thigh and sleeves above the elbow. Underneath was an off white shirt underneath, classic medieval times chainmail armor around the neck, and an iron belt. It also had gauntlets and the ties in the middle of the shirt, keeping it together. The outfit somewhat resembled what Dean Winchester wore in that LARPing episode.
"You don't look too bad yourself," Iris said smugly.
"Ha! It's nice, but why is there no green?" He asked while smiling goofily.
The three of them laughed. "Alright then let's go!!" Steven said breaking the moment as he walked away from the two.
"I should have left him as a book..." Iris said as she tried to catch up to Steven.
Estel laughed and replied, "Yeah, I agree."
The three walked into the town which had tons of activities and varieties of people. From food stands to people doing acrobatics to entertain the crowd, the place was filled with laughter and secular tunes.
"Wow..." Iris said with amazement. She was definitely going to be saying that more often.
"Oh look!! There's a sword battle down in the court today," Steven said as he looked at one of the posters on a tent.
