Chapter 6: Am I Stuck Here Forever?

Its dark, my head and body hurts. What happened? I cant remember anything, am I still Alive? Or am I dead? I thought. Im laying down on a soft cushion, maybe a bed? I try and move but it hurts too much, I feel something against my eyes, am I blindfolded? I thought to myself as I start struggling to move. Are my hands and feet tied too? what is happening? as thoughts race through my head. I hear a loud noise in front of me, and I hear footsteps walking closer and closer to me, Do you know why youre here? a voice speaking to me, maybe Johnny No I responded Youre here because you and a few of your friends tried to escape, well, tried, And only one survived. So now youre here taking the punishment for the one that escaped! No, why? What did I ever do to you!? I exclaimed. I hear the footsteps walk away, slowly fading, and the door shuts. Im in pain and I dont even know what he did to me I thought I need to get out of here! I struggle to move and try to get out It seems hopeless. Eric! We need to go find help! Grace explains Okay, okay its hard to see because its so dark. Eric says while struggling to help grace walk. I hope Rose is okay Grace says softly. Ugh! I need to figure out how to take this blindfold off so I can see! I exclaim. I move around trying to take the blindfold off wait Im starting to see some light. I continue to do what I was doing and the blindfold slips down to my neck. My legs are in chains and I dont even remember what happened, my hands are tied but I can try and get outI need to get too Eric and Grace. I start to untie my hands, Im free! Kinda. I move the blindfold off and look around, still in pain, not sure where but its all over top to bottom. Door slams open what are you doing??! Johnny exclaims we walks over to me and grabs me I punch and knee him in the groin and he lays in pain I see keys! I quickly grab them and escape running 100 miles an hour. Im free! I walk into complete darkness. "I thought she was getting better?? And now youre telling me her new personality is Johnny?" "we are doing the best we can Miss, the meds will take time" a soft voice wakes me up "what? where am I??" "Honey are you okay?" "Mom!?" "Mom! Theyre after me!" "Baby no one is after you, youre fine, youre safe." "where am I?" "honey, youve been where youve always been. Norristown State Mental Hospital. youve been here for three months." My mom calmly explains. "So all the stuff I saw and felt wasnt real??" "No Honey, I've told you over and over for three months its all in your head.....you'll feel better soon, just rest." as mom walks away with the doctor closing the door. "I know its real, they just have to believe me....I am not in a mental hospital, I'm fine! I just need to get out of this dark room and find Grace and Eric" as I close my eyes and sleep.
