Chapter 8

   Juuzou turned on to a show that looked interesting to him. It was called Slaughter party, oh my god, what have I done?! "J-Juuzou?"

"Juuzou?" I wave my hand I front of his face. I walk I front of him, "Juuzou? Juuzou? You okay dude?" He has a sinister smile on his face. I went to touch his shoulder.

He grabbed my hand, flung me down to the ground, and put a knife to my neck. As I was being flung to the ground I heard a sickening pop and my wrist was stinging in pain, I hissed in pain.

Juuzou looked at me holding my wrist. "M-Mei-chan?" He whispered, "d-did I do this?" He asked me. I nodded my head, he then threw the knife behind him and hugged me. Really hard. "I-I'm so sorry Mei-chan!!!" He yelled, still hugging me.

"It's okay, Juuzou-kun" I said, smiling. He looked at me, his face lit up "Mei-chan!! You've never called me that before!!" He yelled, loudly.

My face went red, "t-that was a one time thing" I said, looking away, Juuzou just smiled. He looked over at my wrist and said "we need to get you some help"

"I'm good, I can do it myself, you can help me" I said. He looked over and said ok, I went to the bathroom and brought some bandages out.

"It's just sprained" I told him, lying because it was almost healed. "Okay!" He said, skipping across the room and over to me. He took the wrap and stuck his tongue out, wrapping my wrist carefully.

"Done!" He said, happy with his work. I looked down and saw that he did it surprisingly well. "Good job Juuzou" I said, smiling. He smiled back, I then said "shouldn't you be at work?" He looked away and said "yes..." I looked at him and said "you have to go to work, I will be back soon, tell everyone I said hi and that I sprained my wrist so I won't be back for a while."

He pouted, but nodded his head. I smiled and patted his head "thank you Juuzou" he smiled, hugged me and ran out the door, leaving it open. I walked outside and saw him running down the street, running into people, they were yelling "HEY!" And "OUCH!" I laughed.

Later that day I decided to go and see how Kaneki was doing, I opened his window and crawled in. "Kaneki" I whispered into his ear while slowly shaking him, he sprung out of bed.

I started laughing and he looked confused "Mei?" He asked "yep! It's me!" He shook his head and then went "why are you in my room?" I smiled and took his hand, "you'll see" I said, jumping out the window.

When we had been walking for a while Kaneki finally spoke, "M-Mei, I have a question" he started getting nervous. "Yeah, what is it?" He looked up and went "I like you, will you go on a date with me?" I chuckled and said "of course I will" his face went relieved.

Just then Someone jumped down from a roof. "Noooooo! Mei-chan!! You can't go on a date with anybody!!" Juuzou
"W-who's this?" Kaneki asked "that's my co-worker, Juuzou" I turned to Juuzou with a stern face, "I can date whoever I like Juuzou" his face went sad "M-Mei-chan" he frowned and did puppy dog eyes"

   I looked down "it's not going to work, Juuzou", "darn!" Juuzou ran up to me and hugged me, "Mei-chan can't go on a date!" I took his arms off. "Juuzou, it's my life and I will go to lunch with you if you let me go on a date with Kaneki-kun" he looked up and had a serious face. "How about Mei-chan can go on a date with...Kaneki" he seethed out, "and Mei-chan goes on a date with me!" Juuzou announced, proud and smiling.

    "Okay, but you have to go now and think about what you want to do on out 'date" He nodded his head and ran, bumping shoulders with Kaneki on purpose. "I'm sorry about him, he can be... a little to much" Kaneki nodded "it's okay, I doubt his date will be as good as ours" he said, mumbling. He looked up, surprised And started blushing, he scratched his chin and looked down, blushing, "I-I didn't m-mean for it to be like that..."

   Kaneki blushed as I laughed at him, "I'm sure it will, his idea for a date would be going to a cafe and making me pay for his sweets and make me eat some, it's not even like it tastes good! It's like being tortured, eating the human food, ya know?" I said, realizing how much I had said. Kaneki chuckled and then his phone went off, it must be a text from that friend Hide or something. He chuckled as he saw the message and said "that was Hide, I'll pick you up around 7 tonight?" He asked, waiting to see if it was an ok time, I nodded my head, "where are we going?" I asked him, curious. Kaneki looked up with a smirk on his face, "that's for me to know and you to find out" he said, I've never seen Kaneki act like this before, I'm interested in the studded personality change, "okay then, don't be late" i said, pecking his cheek as I walked off, laughing at the blush on his face.

      As I walked down the sidewalk I noticed someone or something following me, i sped up my pace and went down an ally in case it was someone looking for trouble. As I turned around to face them someone flew into me, latching on, "J-Juuzou! What are you doing?!" I asked, extremely taken back at the sudden affection. Juuzou frowned, "why did you kiss that...Kaneki" he said, scowling as he said Kaneki's name.
