Since its a Friday night. I always chill at home and watch movies with my mom. We are very close. She told me that one of her coworkers and their child was coming over tonight for movie night.

"Mom!" I yelled.

"What?" She yelled back.

"Where are the blankets for movie night?" I asked her walking into the kitchen.

"They are in the cabinet and also Melissa and I were going to go somewhere after dinner so we won't be here for movie night." She said.

"Well okay the three of y'all have fun." I said.

"No, her child is staying here with you." She said.

"You really expect me to stay here with a complete stranger?" I asked her.

"Yes I do, and you will." She said.

"Okay, whatever." I said.

"Now come help me finish this spaghetti." She said.

About 15 minutes later we heard the doorbell ring. My mom went to get it since I was still setting the table.

"Simone, Come meet our guests."I heard my mother say.

"Sweetheart this is Melissa and her son " gco

"Josh." I said.

"Yes, you two have met before." Said my mom and Melissa at the same time.

"We have every class together and we also sit beside each other every day." I said. I was also thinking about our situation earlier today when we were out at lunch.

"Wow okay introductions are over fast then. Lets Eat."said my mom.

We headed into the kitchen where the table was filled out with smoked sausages, spaghetti, a salad, and cheesecake for dessert.

"This meal looks amazing." Said Melissa.

"Thank you." Said my mom and I.

We were all eating when of course my mom had to start a conversation about school.

"So, how is school going?" My mom asked Josh.

"It's alright." He said.

"Whew I'm so glad it's going alright." Said Melissa.

"Me too." I consigned even though I knew the real deal. Josh looked up at me.

"I just couldn't take it anymore at that other school. The fights, the bullying, the craziness I'm so glad it's over." Said Melissa.

"Yea me too." I said shaking my head slightly.

"What?" Said Melissa.

"Huh?" I asked her.

"You shook your head why?"she asked.

"Mom" said Josh.

"No, let her talk." Said Melissa.

"Well I just know to a certain degree what it's like to go through all that's stuff. I went through in middle school, but I can't imagine going through it now. People can be so cruel these days. They just act all of character." I said.

"Yes, your very passionate about this." Said Melissa.

"Yes she always has been." Said my mom.

"Let's try this cheesecake." Said Melissa.

"Okay." Said Josh

"Omg this is so good." Said Melissa.

"Yeah this tastes great Ms. Roberts." Said Josh.
