So We Meet Again

Marinette's P.O.V

I sneezed as I wrapped the blankets tighter around me. Me, Felix, Bridgette, Plagg, Tikki, and Adrien had all gotten sick due to the events from yesterday. I groaned as I buried my head in my pillow. I heard a knock on the door and sighed into the pillow, "come in" I said, though my voice was a bit muffled. I turned my head as I heard the door open, I saw Nathaniel walk in with a bouquet. A smile forms on my face as I sit up groggily.

"You didn't have to do this Nathan" I said, cheerfully. I smiled as I saw his face heat up when he heard his nickname. "W-well...you've been s-so nice to me...it's th-the least I could do" He stammered, nervously scratching the back of his neck. I giggled. "Well thanks" I said, I grabbed a tissue and blew my nose. "But um...they're kind of making me worst Nathan" I said. He got flustered and apologized "no biggie" I said. "Well...I'll be off now" He said, awkwardly opening the door to leave. "See ya!" I said as he left. I plopped back down on my bed and slept.

~FlashBack~

I happily hummed as I walked into school. "Hey Tikki!" I greeted as I approached my red headed friend. She greeted me back and continued talking to her sister Duusuu. I walked over to Adrien and tackled him.

"Owwie" He whined, rubbing his head. I giggled and helped him stand up. "Morning Adrian!" I said. He pouted "It's not Adrian it's Adrien" he corrected me. I shrugged and playfully punched his arm.

We walked into class and started our BORING day!

As I walked out of class I noticed a brunette talking with my Kitty. I saw Adrien blush, I growled. I don't really know why...but it came out naturally. I shrugged it off and walked to the front of the school. I saw the sky was really gray and dark. I could see water droplets fall steadily down. I sighed, I didn't know it was going to rain.

I heard footsteps behind me and saw Adrien, I didn't say anything since (for some reason) I was a little angry. I gave him a small smile and looked away. I don't know what's wrong with me. Why am I so angry that Adrien was talking to some other girl....AND BLUSHING. I shook the thought out of my head as I thought nothing of it.

He took out his umbrella and looked at me. His face was really bright. "I'm happy I have a friend. And that it's a nice girl like you, Mari" he said, he turned to me as he offered the umbrella. A light blush tinted my cheeks. "I don't know what I did to upset you...but I'm sorry. I'm new to friendship and stuff. But my first friend was an angel...and for that...I'm grateful" he said, earnestly.

Our eyes were glued together, I was in a trance. I unconsciously took the umbrella, our hands brushing together, making me feel electricity. A smile grew on my face, a really big one. "Thanks Kitty~!" I said, happily. "No problem Bugaboo!"  he yelled as he ran to his limo.

I woke up with my head throbbing, I groaned as I massaged my temples, trying to ease the pain. I then heard a knock at the door. "Come in" I said, groggily. I saw Adrien come in with tissues, pills, and something that looked like medicine. Also, some chocolate and a teddy bear that said "get well soon!" I smiled. "Aren't you sick?" I asked, a bit worried. He shrugged, "I have to take care of my princess first so...yeah!" He said, smiling.

After I drank the pill and the medicine I felt better. I hugged the bear and smiled at my cat. "No chocolate?" He asked, "later" I said, smirking. "Welp, I gots to go before I die!" He joked opening the door. "Thanks Kitty~" I said, laying back down, "No problem Bugaboo~" He shot me a smile that pierced my heart.

Oops! I think I'm falling for him again.
