What You Used To Be

My eyes used to twinkle at the sight of you

Now all they do is darken

My heart used to stop at the sight of you

Now is beats with anger

My palms used to sweat when you neared

Now the ball into tight fists

I don’t understand why you lied

All I know is that it will never happen again.
