o3

Six months have passed and I still didn't know I'm capable of adjusting in this kind of environment.

Mr. Dave is still the same he always smiles and I still gave him my forceful smile.

I made friends from different departments just by going out with them once or twice a month to eat in different restaurants or sidewalks or fast food chains.

Sometimes I found myself smiling while everyone is laughing but I always made sure that they never noticed it. I don't laugh like them but I guess I felt happiness again?

December is fast approaching and everyone in the company seems excited with the early vacation that the company is giving everyone.

And everyone is looking forward to the Christmas Party that will be held two weeks from now.
I'm busy typing the draft of the work instruction of a certain process I have studied earlier.

When the department head entered the room.
"Production! Hello!" He said merrily.

Everyone greeted him back in chorus.

"I have an announcement to make, about the Christmas Party." He paused and smiled. "We are assigned for the decorations and the making of the invitations."
Everyone cheered up, probably because it's the easiest thing to do for a party.

I looked back at my computer when Mr. Jackson (the department head) called for my name.

I slowly turned my head and said yes, in a question tone.

"You'll be in-charged with the invitation and that should compliment with the theme and the decorations. I see you're quite an artist, so I'm looking forward to an artistic party." He explained while giving a friendly smile.

I nodded and smiled back. Of all people, seriously? And how did he know that I'm into arts? Ugh.

Lunch time has arrived and I saw some girls giggling in the hallway.

Ooh. HR Department's ladies. What is it this time?

"OMG. He's so hot!"
"I love his eyes!"
"I'm so lucky to shake hands with him."

I slowly shook my head to disbelief.

I headed on my way to cafeteria when I saw someone hiding near the shoe locker area. I ignored his presence as I changed my shoes. Why do guys love to stare?

Just when I'm ready to go he blocked my way with his arms wide open.

I raised my brow showing the question I'm going to ask.
"You don't know me, do you?" He said with his eyes showing curiosity or whatsoever feeling it is.

"My apologies but no. So please excuse me before the cafeteria ran out of food." I tried to walk but he still insist to block my way.

I heaved a deep sigh and look at him again.
"Okay mister, who are you?"

He put his palm on his face to show disbelief. Just who is this guy?

"I really can't believe this, I'm the vice-president and you don't know me?"

What? How could a youngster be a vice-president?
"My apologies again Sire, I didn't remember your face on the handbook."

I bowed and rolled my eyes. Can't I just eat?

"Okay, what do you think about me?"

I was so surprised to hear that, seriously? He's the vice-president?

I'll just compliment him.
"I think you're cute and a proud one Sire." Okay I think I need to add that.

He's squinty eyes turned into a round one somehow. And then...
he laughed. So hard that he burst into tears.

"Now I see why Dave is so into you. You may go now," still laughing, "eat well."

And there he goes, laughing and shaking his head.
Tch.

"Now I see why Dave is so into you."

What?

Dave?

Who's Dave?

Mr. Dave? The supervisor?
