LAST UPDATE:
It felt like hours, although I knew it had only been a few minutes. I raised my head to look at Jasmine. She drew a breath before saying the words I wasn't sure if I was ready to hear.
---
"Your brother is Liam Payne." She stated, her eyes wide with disbelief.
"You think I don't know that?" I muttered into my palms.
"I know you know that, but I don't think you are completely grasping it. Your brother is Liam. The boy you have on your walls."
I lifted up my head as she continued.
"The boy that millions of people fawn over everyday. He saves lives, Kira."
She took a breath and looked me in the eyes.
"He is the boy you know everything about. Even something he doesn't even know." She winked "Also, it is the boy you said you would bang last week..."
"Oh my god Jay!" I blushed "Don't remind me!"
She grinned "Kira Beth Williams, you have no idea what's coming."
---
Two weeks can pass rather quickly when you are constantly day dreaming. The same thoughts ran through my head day in, and day out.
Will he believe me?
How will he react?
How do I even bring it up?
I sat on my bed with the clothes I had picked out a month ago in completely different circumstances. When they were a band, not my brother and his four friends.
I ran my eyes over the outfit yet again. It was a simple baby blue flowing shirt, with dark blue high-waisted jeans. I picked them up and placed them in the bathroom.
I stood in front of my mirror, donning my eyes with black eye liner and a light pink lip gloss. My eyeliner had taken a few goes since my hands had been shaking badly. I left my hair as it was, since it was already pin straight.
I slipped on my outfit and adjusted the silver bangles on my wrist. My mum called my name and I rushed down the hall to the front door, slipping on plain black flats as I ran. This proved a bad idea when I slipped and knocked my head against the wall.
Jasmine walked in at that very moment, seeing me on the floor with my hand clutching my forehead, and my mother trying to stop herself from smiling. She looked between us a few times before cracking up herself.
"Oh come on." Mum said when she had finally stopped laughing. "This is a big night."
My face immediately dropped. I grabbed my black clutch, and walked to the car with my head hung low.
I slipped into the back seat and Jasmine slid in next to me. Mum started up the car and drove away from my place of comfort, knowing the next time I saw it, everything would be different.
I usually love car rides. Today however, I did not. I opened and closed my clutch to occupy my hands. I fixed my eyeliner a few times, but at one point Jasmine grabbed my hands and told me to stop. I nodded and continued to fiddle with my purse.
"Got everything?" My mum asked. I clicked open my purse and ran my fingers over everything in my clutch. Phone, money, Birth and adoption papers, ticket; check. My hand flew up to my chest, feeling for my backstage pass. Check. I nodded and so did Jasmine as we walked into the famed O2 Arena.
"Thank you all for a fantastic night!" Harry called out, waving to the audience. The boys all ran off stage, and the house lights turned on.
The night had been fantastic I must admit, but once it had reached the last song I got really anxious about what was coming. Jasmine had stopped her off-key singing to comfort me, but I brushed her off and told her not to worry. That is what she was doing right now, rubbing my arm and telling me that every thing will be alright over and over.
She walked up to a guard and asked him where we go and he gave her directions. She started to walk off but I caught her arm.
"I can't do it." I whispered. In any other situation she may have consoled me, but right now she wrapped her arm around my shoulders and said, "Grow a pair."
We arrived at the backstage entrance and showed one of the security guards our passes. He ushered us in and Jay dragged me into the semi crowed room. We got into line and waited for our photo with the boys.
We eventually got to the front of line and stood with the boys. I shuffled in between Niall and Liam.
"H-hi." I swallowed. They both grinned and said "Hi" in unison.
Liam frowned and ran his thumb over my forehead, where I had bumped it earlier. "You okay?" He inquired, worry still etched on his face.
"Yeah, I just slipped earlier. Getting ready for the concert actually."
He laughed and wrapped his arm around my shoulder.
Lets get this over with. I gave a half smile at the camera as it flashed, blinding me temporarily.
I looked over to Jasmine, who was in a conversation with Harry. Louis, Zayn and Niall had grouped off and were talking as well.
Now or never.
I shuffled through my purse and brought out the papers, quickly scrawling my number on the back of one of them and handed it to Liam.
"I'm sorry you had to find out like this." I mumbled, walking out of the room.
Just as I got to the door, I turned around and he looked at the papers, reading them over.
I walked down the hall hearing someone, probably Jasmine, run after me.
"Don't let it phase you Kira" I said under my breath. "He probably doesn't even believe you."
"I do." A deep voice said behind me. "I do believe you."
