You sighed as you fiddled your watch that your brother had given you which was the only thing that kept you sane during these few weeks as you stared at the white metallic looking walls of your room in the castle.Recently,you have been really homesick as in two days,it was your brother's,(b/n)'s, birthday.A knock on your room's door startled you as the watch flew out of your hands and onto the edge of your bed."(y/n)?Can I come in?"You heard the familiar voice of your crush,Shiro,ask as he waited outside your door patiently for your permission to enter."Yeah sure..."You said as you reached out to grab the watch,placing it on your desk nearby.Your heard the door sliding open as you looked at Shiro with a false smile as he sat beside you on your bed."Are you okay (y/n)?I've been noticing that you have been lacking focus while fighting the galra earlier.What happened?"Shiro asked as he looked at you,concerned."Oh it's nothing...I didn't really get much sleep the night before..."You lied,hoping that it would slip past Shiro but unfortunately he had caught your lie as he sighed."(y/n),please don't lie to m-us...We all know that something has been troubling you recently..."You sighed as you stared at Shiro."I'm fine..."You protested as you forced a laugh,"What makes you think that something is troubling me?"Shiro started to get up to leave since it was getting pretty late,"(y/n),me and the other paladins are here if you need us okay?Sleep tight."You nodded your head as you smiled at Shiro before you closed your eyes,slowly drifting off to sleep as you thought of your brother.

Shiro's P.o.v
"I can't stand it anymore...(y/n) is blocking us out more and more during this few days and her fighting is getting sloppier while she is fighting the galra!"Keith said as he breathed in deeply,trying to calm himself down from his frustration."Maybe we should give her more time...I mean she may be going through something..."Pidge said as she plopped down onto her seat."She's hardly eating anything these few days..."Hunk muttered as everyone's eyes widened,including mine,in shock as we heard that."She-WHAT?"I yelled as I saw everyone flinch at my sudden outburst."I mean she barely comes out of her room unless if it's going for the bathroom or eating though when she eats,it's only a little bit before she claims she isn't hungry,leaving to go back to her room."Hunk continued as he fiddled with his fingers nervously,"I wasn't suppose to tell anyone this since I promised (y/n) but this has escalated too far for me to handle..."I smiled at Hunk slightly,"You've made the right decision Hunk.Who knows what may have happened if you didn't tell us anything."Hunk nodded his head as I patted his shoulder before I started heading towards where (y/n)'s room was.I then begin to feel the butterflies in my stomach once again as I approached her room.Knowing that most probably she wouldn't let anybody in if they had asked permission at all,I just entered the room as I look around for the familiar (h/c) haired girl that I've developed a crush on.Seeing a small lump by the corner of the room,I walked towards it,taking off the covers revealing a pale (y/n) with puffy,red eyes and a depressed look on her face.I froze in shock as I saw the normally cheerful personality that (y/n) had was now replaced with a depressed and negative personality.

I just lost it after I saw Shiro was staring at me like that.I began telling him how homesick I've been and the other things I've been through as I cried hysterically while he held me in his arms.Once I poured out everything,I felt like the huge weight on my shoulders was gone but I was still sobbing as my bod convulsed from the sobs that wracked my whole body.Shiro murmured sweet nothings as he hugged me tighter but not enough to strangle or hurt me in any means.Soon,the sounds of my sobbing ceased as Shiro smiled at me slightly."I get how you feel...In fact,I've had it more than once (y/n)...Please don't lock yourself away from everyone because of this...We need you...The people back at Earth needs you..."It just felt right for me as I leaned in,connecting my lips with Shiro's.I was surprised when he kissed back.I never expected him to have a crush on me.I smiled into the kiss after that before the door opened as 'Ew's and some gagging noises could be heard from the other paladins.Shiro and I broke away quickly,blushing as we saw the other Paladins standing by my doorway along with the princess and Coran."I guess this is the que for us to leave..."Keith said awkwardly as he rubbed the back of his neck,stepping out of the room."Aw...Now that (y/n) is taken I can't pursue her anymore..."Lance groaned out as he walked out of the room.Pidge just gave me the thumbs up as she walked out of the room while Hunk flashed me a slight smile filled with happiness and a bit of guilt.I smiled back slightly at him before he walked out of the room.Allura and Coran were the only ones left."Congratulations on your relationship."Allura said though there was a small hint of jealousy in her tone of voice.Coran just slapped Shiro on the back as the two alteans exited the room,closing the door behind them."Shall we continue from where we left off?"I said with a slightly mischievous smile as Shiro chuckled,connecting our lips together once again.
