"Dani, why are you so cute?" Meredith shouted as she punched the punching bag in her room while staring at Dani Pedrosa's poster on the wall. "I wish I could meet you!"

"Are you speaking to that poster again?" The door creaked open and her blond friend Anna stepped into the room. Behind her was her little white chihuahua puppy who yelped as he entered the room.

"Hey Anna!" Meredith pulled back from the punching bag and stood straight as the sweat dripped down her forehead.

"I know Dani Pedrosa inspires you to work harder for your martial arts competitions but talking to his posters is a little too overboard." Anna leaned against the wall.

"You think so?" Meredith chuckled as she looked alluringly at the poster once again. Her heart always thumped loudly whenever she looked at Dani on the tv or his poster. She loved him, but more than just a fan. She was brought back into her senses when the puppy barked and she expressed her joy by picking the little one up in her arms and hugging it.

"Take my little puppy for a walk. You need a break. Also, I need to go somewhere for a day so I thought I should leave him with you." Anna smiled.

"Sure thing!" Meredith kept the puppy on the floor and led him out along with Anna, who took her leave and trotted away.

"So little fella, where do you wanna go?" She looked at the puppy who walked happily along the street, until he saw a cat and started barking furiously. The puppy started chasing the cat and Meredith was shocked as she watched the little one run away. "Hey! Stop!"

Her pace increased and she found herself running after the white chihuahua, but he was faster than her and she found it hard to catch up with him. The puppy ran into a a green park, which was quite vast, vast enough to make Meredith gasp. She lost the puppy from her sight.

She was angry, devastated and miserable, all at the same time, but this didn't stop her from searching for the puppy. Her eyes scanned the whole park, her feet walked briskly and her head was a mess. Everyone thought she was lost due to the stress visible on her face. She went behind a tree, where she thought she could take a sigh and momentarily forget the situation, but she was wrong. What she saw behind the tree surprised her. It was the puppy, but it wasn't alone. A man with a black cap and sunglasses was holding it with a jolly smile on his face.

"You found it!" She exclaimed as she approached the man.

"Oh it's yours?" The man asked, but his voice seemed so familiar. "This is one cute chihuahua."

"Your voice." Meredith reached out her hand, which moved on its own, and took off his glasses. She gasped loudly.

It was no other than the one and only Dani Pedrosa. It was him. It was her idol. Her first love. Her body shook frivolously as a screech escaped her mouth before she covered her face. "Dani!"

He understood the situation and smirked widely as he let the chihuahua down. "Hi."

"You're an idiot!" She shouted. "I have loved you since so long! I've tried twitter, email and every other social media to reach you but you've always ignored-"

"Wait, I know you." He folded his arms across his chest. "You're Meredith!"

She was silenced. Her mind was awestricken and her body was stunned. "You've noticed me?"

"Of course I have." Dani's face turned bright red. "You're the one who takes part in the martial arts competitions. I have stalked you so many times. I am sorry if I've ignored you."

She laughed after seeing him blushing, and her laughter was like a gush of air for Dani. His eyes widened and a smile naturally appeared about his lips. "Hey, I never realised this but you are so cute. Do you- umm- want to get something to eat tonight?"

"Together?" She asked inquisitively.

"Yes." He uttered in his shaky voice.

"I'd love that." She smiled.

"Great." He clasped his hands. "Meet me here at 8 tonight."

Meredith chuckled as she turned around to leave, but her hand was grabbed by Dani, who pulled her close and kissed her cheek before running away. She was stunned once again and her heart was beating aloud inside of her. Her dream had become a reality.

"I'm already starting to like you!" Dani shouted from far away and blew her a kiss.

Meredith blushed as she walked out of the park contently.

"A date with Dani Pedrosa?" Anna shouted from the other end of the phone. "Girl, no way."

"Yeah, thanks to your puppy, I got involved in a puppy chase and now I have a date with my first love." Meredith held the phone between her shoulder and her ear as she fixed her earrings. "Anyway, it's time. I'll talk to you later."

Her black hair looked stunning and the dress she wore was elegant, but she preferred comfort over beauty, thus she ended the outfit with a pair of sneakers. She energetically ran out of the house and jogged towards the park, where she found Dani, all dressed up formally with a huge smirk on his face.

"I was waiting for you." He moved his arm forward and waited for her to grab it.

She did so and their arms were locked around each other's in a matter of a few seconds. Dani slowly paced towards the tree and led Meredith behind it to reveal the table which was set up. Two musicians and a waiter stood there with cheerful smiles on their faces and on the table, there was a box of pizza along with a bottle of wine. Meredith giggled joyously as she wrapped her arms around Dani.

"This is quite a wonderful meet up." She exclaimed.

"No, it's a date." Dani smirked.

"A date." Meredith's cheeks flushed red.

"Yes, a date. All because of a puppy chase." He laughed as he kissed her cheek, making it turn even more red.
