As dark as his heart was,
His skin was even darker,
Enveloped in fear,
Sealed with hatred,

Tear him apart,
Burn him to the ground,
Disintegrate his existence,
Those white men shout,
For his type was never wanted,

Yet as they raise their heads,
And watch him rise,
Look up at the sky,
And see him above,
They realise no one can drag him down,
And jealousy overwhelms them,

They say an image can tell a thousand words,
Yet his tells one word only,
Black.

They say an image can tell a thousand words,Yet his tells one word only,Black
