Ancient Drama

Chapter 3

Once everyone was in the truck, they drove to their home to grab any essentials. They then drove to the airport, leaving the truck in reserved parking.

Ajax, Candace, Dalia, and Kaia began walking towards the gates, when Zephyra whistled for them. They instantly stopped and turned around to see what was wrong. Zephyra just smiled and pointed towards the landing strip. Everyone looked and gasped. A plain black jet with the air symbol on the tail was sitting their with its door open. Zephyra began walking towards the jet, looked back and smiled at her dumbfound siblings and Ajax. "What are you guy's waiting for? Hop on!" she yelled

Everyone ran after Zephyra and got on to the jet.

" How in the world do you have a private jet?" Candace asked.

" Well, being a stunt pilot does have it's advantages, you know?" she said, chuckling.

" Especially when you're the best in the world."

Ajax just looked at the girls, who just shrugged.

Once they took off, they all began to relax, talk, and get to know each other more to have more trust. None of them knew what was stored for them in the road ahead.

The sun was shining bright as the sisters and their new friend/body guard flew above the city of Athens, Greece. Dalia and Candace were looking out the windows, gazing out at the beautiful city below them in awe, Zephyra and Ajax were in a deep conversation about the history of Greece, and Kaia was tending to her batch of poisonous plants that she had brought along. "Just in case of an emergency." she had said, while packing her bags.

Zephyra got up and looked out the window. " Good news, guys. We're just about to land at the airport. We should be landing shortly." she said, walking over to the cockpit of the jet.

"Oh, thank goodness. Solid ground again." Kaia commented under her breath, so that her plants were the only ones that could have heard.

Zephyra smiled at her sister. "I heard that." she said, while Candace,Dalia, and Ajax chuckled. Kaia stuck out her tongue, and Zephyra stuck out hers right back. Once the jet landed, everyone got off, grabbed their things, and went to go the front of the airport.

"Our ride should be out in front, over by the group of trees." Ajax said, walking towards a pitch black carriage, with two beautiful dark brown stallions, one with an almost perfect white crescent moon on it's chest, the other with an almost perfect sun on it's chest, in front of it. The girls gasped at the sight, but the one who was the most excited was Kaia. She was extremely eco-friendly and loved animals. Kaia walked up to the horses, reached out her hands and pet the beautiful creatures.

Ajax smiled. "I had a feeling that you would like them. I know that they like you. I heard that you were eco-friendly and not really a fan of vehicles, so I had my grandfather bring them here. You'll get to meet him and the rest of our pets when we get back to our house. The horse with the crescent moon is Celena, and the one with the sun is Appollo.They are brother and sister. We should get going if we want to make it home before dinner." he said with a chuckle.

The girls got into the carriage, and Ajax got to steer the horses, even though they seemed to know where to go on their own. The ride took them about an hour, but the sites were so beautiful that the ride seemed to end too quickly for them. Once they were outside of the city, the girls could see horses, cows, sheep, and a few other animals wandering around in the fields, or being herded by shepherds. They were almost there, when they all heard a loud barking coming from in front of them. The girls looked to see what looked to be a dog, but was to big to be one. They sat back further into their seats, when Ajax started laughing. "You don't need to be scared. That's my dog, Ares. Come on up, boy! He yelled towards the dog. Ares ran faster, and jumped onto Ajax's lap. "Ah! Easy, boy. You're not a puppy any more." he said laughing, petting Ares, who continued to lick his face. He then looked back, barked, and jumped into the carriage with the sisters. Ares went straight to Kaia, and began licking her face. She screamed and laughed as the dog continued to lick her face and wag his tail. "Ah! Ares, chill out. Go lick the other's, you big goof ball." she said, laughing and  wiping dog slobber off her face.

Ares looked over at the girls, smiled a goofy grin, and began to lick everybody else.

"Ah! Not cool, Kaia. What kind of dog is he anyway?" Zephyra asked, dodging the kisses.

Kaia looked at Ares, who looked back with his icy blue eyes, and pitch black fur coat. " I'm not sure, exactly. I do know for one thing that he's more wolf than dog. The dog part of him, I believe, is german shepard.You know, he looks a lot like Shadow." she said, looking at his features.

"That's what we think to. We're not entirely sure if that's accurate or not, but we do know that he's a very good dog, and he doesn't seem to scare the other animals, so he helps out around the farm."  Ajax said, looking back at them. "Speaking of the farm, take a look."

The girls looked over and gasped. What they saw in front of them was at least a few hundred acres of land, filled with trees, fields, a barn, animals, and a really, really big mansion. Kaia looked at Ajax in disbelief. "That's, a house?" she asked, in awe. " It's bigger than the penthouse, and that place could fit a few dozen families."

Ajax laughed. "Yeah, I know. A few times I have gotten lost trying to find the kitchen, or even one of the weapon rooms that we have." he said, pulling into the driveway. He put the horses to a stop, unhitched them, and let the girls out. Ares, Celena, and Appollo all walked over to the giant barn, even though the barn doors were closed. Kaia looked over at Ajax with a confused look on her face. "Aren't you going to help them?" she asked, crossing her arms.

Ajax just smiled. "Just wait for it. These creatures have learned quite a lot." he said, pointing towards the barn. Kaia looked, and saw that they had just gotten towards the doors. Ares went over to the lock, moved the piece of wood,which was being used as a lock, out of the way. Celena then kicked the door, opening a bit, then pushed it open the rest of the way. All three of the animals went inside. Kaia was gaping at them, looked at Ajax, and looked back. " That is absolutely amazing!" she said, astonished.

Ajax just smiled "Yep. It sure is. How about we go inside and find your rooms,okay?" he said, grabbing their bags.

Kaia followed him through the house, to a room that was marked with the symbol for earth on the door. Ajax set Kaia's things down, and opened the door. Kaia gasped at the sight. The room was filled, ceiling to floor, with plants of all kinds. Even the bed had some plants on the frame.

Kaia walked inside and looked around. "It's absolutely perfect." she said, her voice almost a whisper.

"I knew you would like it. Your sisters all have rooms that fit with their elements, too. Theirs we're a bit harder, though. I just wanted you guys to feel comfortable when you got here." Ajax admitted. He was surprised when Kaia turned around, and gave him a big hug. "Thank you." she whispered.

Ajax hugged her back. "Your welcome." he said.

Once they were finished in there, they met with the rest of the sisters in the library, which was the biggest any of them had ever seen.

Zephyra was moving through each section, looking like a child on christmas morning. She was flying up to the top of the shelves laughing at the amount of books.

Dalia was staring in awe at the giant fish tank, filled with the most exotic fish and sea animals. Candace was sitting by the giant fireplace, play with fire. As per usual.

Kaia walked in and saw that there was potted plants all over the library. She began walking around when a book fell on her head.

"Ow!" she yelled. Kaia looked up and saw that Zephyra had dropped a book, and she was giggling. "Zephyra! Not cool." she said, glaring at her sister as she flew away. When she had flown away, Kaia picked up the book that fell on her head, and tried to find the title and the author. There was none. Confused, she flipped the book to a random page, and gasped. There was a picture with her and her sisters, but there was another woman, who Kaia had never seen before. She quickly brought the book to Ajax, showing him the picture of them. "Who is the woman in the middle?" she asked, pointing to her.

Ajax gave a confused look, as the rest of the girl came over to see what Kaia was talking about. Ajax was about to say something, but was interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Hey guys, I brought you something to eat."  said a woman, walking in.

When they all saw each other, they gasped. It was the woman from the book, dressed in a simple cream-rose colored dress, gladiator styled sandals, and had tanned skin. Her hair was a metallic lilac color, and her eyes were the colors of a galaxy. The woman dropped the platter, causing food to scatter all over the floor. "I know you." she said, in a whisper.
