Old Times ~ Chapter 5

Jack and Mark woke up to the smell of pancakes coming from downstairs.
They both lazily got out of bed and slowly walked down stairs to see Anti cooking pancakes.
He was currently flipping a pancake, succeeding.
He put the last pancake on the plate that was full of pancakes.
"What? How? Why?"
Jack said as he looked at Anti confused.
"What; I'm cooking, How; Mark, Why; I want to surprise Dark."
Anti said looking at Jack and Mark.
"When did you-"
"It's called the internet, jackass."
Anti said coldly then went back to making the pancakes.
Jack looked at Mark and Mark just shrugged and he went to the couch and plopped down.
Jack sighed and went to the fridge to get the eggs and opened the fridge door then got the eggs and closed the fridge door, but ran into Anti and dropped the egg carton on the ground.
"Idiot! Can't even get eggs to the counter with breaking them can you? Pathetic."
Anti hissed at Jack.
"We'll sorry, Titi."
Jack mumbled and Anti growled.
"Don't you EVER call me that!"
"I can do what I want! Your MY counterpart! I can lock you back up in my soul for the rest of my life, and would NEVER let you back out, knowing I have this bratty little beast!"
Jack yelled at Anti.
Anti's eyes pricked with tears and were full of tears then he grabbed the plate of pancakes and set them on the table and ran to his room and slammed the door.
"Jack... don't you think you were a little.. to harsh on him?"

Mark said as he walked over to Jack and out his hands on his shoulders.
"A LITTLE TO HARSH?"
Jack repeated and pushed Mark's hands away from his shoulders.
"Jack! Calm down!"
Mark said.
"ME? CALM DOWN? HA! I WASN'T THE ONE THAT MADE SUCH A BIG DEAL OUT OF DROPPING THE EGG CARTON!"
Jack yelled.
"We'll you were the one who freaked out after he said that!!"
Mark yelled back, but not as loud.
"So now your on his side?! What the actual fuck is wrong with you!!"
Jack screamed.
"I never said that! But I just-"
Mark started, but was cut off by Jack.
"If you think he's so innocent then just be with him! I'm SICK and TIRED of being PUSHED around like a DOLL! I'm not a desperate puppy, who just follows everyone around, begging for there love! NO! I'm not going to do that!"
Jack yelled at the top of his lungs and grabbed his keys, coat, and phone and ran out the door and slammed it behind him.
It all happened so quickly.
Mark couldn't think straight and soon realized then ran after him, but by the time he was outside, Jack's (well actually Marks, since Jack didn't drive) car had just driven away.
"Why am I so.. so.. STUPID!!"
Mark yelled and raged back into the house throwing down a glass vase, making the shattering sound echo threw the house.

Hours has past and Jack had still not come back home.
Mark called and texted many many many times, but to no avail.
Marks eyes were bloodshot from crying so hard.
He walked over to the door but felt something under his foot, then back up and saw the promise ring Mark had given Jack.

Magical flash back

Jack woke up one morning with a rose and a small white box on his nightstand. He looked over and didn't see Mark.
He sat up and took the rose in his hand and smelt it.
It smelt so beautiful.
Like a fresh summer day.
He picked up the box and opened it. There was a neatly folded up piece of paper.
He unfolded it.
It read,

'Good morning my love. I hope you slept well. I wanted to give you this promise ring, because, I promise to ALWAYS love you, and to ALWAYS keep you safe. Your the bright light to my dark world. I hope you can understand how much I love you, and how much I always WILL love you. I have a matching ring so our love will always be connected. I love you, Sean. ~ Love, Mark'

Jack opened the small box to find a rose gold ring, with diamond like letter engraved in it.
It spelt';<3 J x M <3'.
Jack smiled and tears formed in his eyes as he slid the ring on.

Mark cried as he held Jacks promise ring close to him.
He wanted his Jack to be back home. Mark sighed and ran his fingers threw his hair and went upstairs and changed into his PJ pants and puts Jack's promise ring down on the nightstand and fell asleep.

next morning

Mark woke up feeling a small body wrapped around his arms.
He looked down and saw his green haired lover and sighed in relief and hugged him tightly and some tears flew down his cheeks.
Jack felt some wetness of his forehead and slowly opened his eyes and looked up at his boyfriend.
He soon realized that Mark was crying. He hugged his red-haired lover back tightly and Mark just hugged tighter.
"I'm so sorry Mark.."
Jack whispered and kept his eyes closed to keep the tears from coming.
"It's ok.."
Mark whispered back.
"You were right though. I was a little harsh on Anti."
Jack said.
"It's ok, really."
Mark said, kissing the Irishman's head. Jack smiled slightly.
Mark sat up and reached over to Jacks nightstand and tried to reach for the promise ring but it wasn't there.
"Looking for this?"
Jack held up his hand showing that he had the promise ring on.
"Yes. I was worried that you took it off on purpose."
Mark said taking Jack's hand and kissing it.
Jack smiled.
"I love you too much to take this precious gem off. I guess I accidentally dropped it when I got up yesterday morning, or somethin'."
Jack said looking at the promise ring. Mark nodded and kissed Jack.
Jack smiled and kissed back.
