Sweat runs down the cartoon demon's face as she digs through her things, striving to find her belongings. It's already been 20 minutes since the time she's supposed to be at the library!
C'mon, C'MON KEYS...!!!
Just has she was about to lose hope, a slight jingle of metal rings a bell in her head as she pulled her gloved hands out revealing the shining metal keys sparkling in the light from outside, a satisfying smile runs through her face.
"Got it!" She exclaimed, she'd say more but there's no to to waste! She's not risking another chance of almost losing her library, the one thing she valued most, her pride. As an average book worm herself, losing that would be like the world's greatest nightmare.
Without hesitation, she grabbed her small, Rectangular glasses and scurried out the door. This wasn't the first time she was late, but this also was the first time that she's been ever so excited about visiting, working in the library is joy to her. It feels nice to be surrounded by books of all different kinds of genres that she just couldn't resist getting herself into!
Sure, this demon was probably the shyest demon in the neighborhood, but locals knew her as a very smart one indeed, and cautious about her actions. Despite this, she can also be very clumsy!
She immediately ran out her apartment door, locked, and shut it behind her, and made her way down the stairs, just thinking about why she had to stay up so late last night, which made her get up so late this morning!?
With sweat continually dripping from her head, she finally came to the door of the apartment lobby and ran off, leaving the door slamming behind her.
As she ran through the streets in the city, she couldn't help but glance all around her. The loud honking of cars, the flashing street lights, especially the amazingly tall, beautiful buildings! She's always loved her city and fellow neighbors from her apartment! Though she's always been super curious in how life in the country was like, she's always wanted to meet someone or there! Despite her shyness, she'd be willing to ask many, MANY questions to that person!
But now wasn't the time to dream, she had a job to do, immediately.
"Oh you're in so much trouble now Athena... Stupid demon..." She thought as she eventually stopped standing right Infront of the "Cartoon Magic" library, the biggest one in the city.
She took a few deep breaths, prepared to hear another shouting from her boss, opened the door,
And stepped in.
