Late ~ Chapter 1

I can't believe I missed the first week of school! I'll know no one and I won't even have a team. I can't believe they made me stay in Signal for another week.
Now I have to meet with the headmaster.
"Please, come in." Mr. Ozpin instructed me.
"Hello, Mr. Ozpin." I sat down on the chair in front of his desk as he scanned me.
"I'm pairing you up with a group of three. There group dorm is 212."
"Thank you so much, Mr. Ozpin." I stood up but before I could leave, Headmaster Ozpin called me back.
"I forgot to give you your schedule." He smiled a bit and sent it to my scroll.
"Feel free to come to me if you have any problems. Now, please, get to class before you're late." He waved to me and I set off to my class.
"And so then I fought off–Mrs. (L/n)! You're late!" Prof. Port stopped his lecture and looked at me, making all the heads in the room turn.
"I'm so sorry, Professor Port!"
"Now, now, have a seat! I supposed I can leave you off with a warning! Where was I? Oh yes! So, I was fighting off—"
I saw a row of chairs open, closest to the door and farthest from Prof. Port.
After Prof. Port's constant rambling the bell finally rang and I dashed out of class.
After my next class I finally gotta go to lunch.
I had no where to sit so I just sat at the edge of the table but clearly that wasn't far enough away from everyone because some group of guys came up to me, calling me names and pulling strands of my hair.
Weiss's POV
"Weiss! Weissss!" Ruby waved her hand in front of my face.
"W-What?" I lost my train of thought and looked at her.
"W–"
"I hate Cardin and his stupid team!" Yang growled, looking at him bullying some new girl.
"He's does this everyday." Blake said, looking up from her book.
"He's so mean!" Ruby jumped in.
"Weiss? Weiss? Where are you going?" Ruby called after me as I walked up to Cardin.
"What do you want, Ice Queen?" His groupies laughed as he smirked.
"Leave. Her. Alone."
"Why should I?" He gripped her hair and tugged on it, hard enough to make her whimper.
I gently flicked his nose then screamed to my team "FOOD FIGHT!"
I grabbed Cardin's current victim and ran out of the cafeteria.
"You okay?"
She gave me a small nod as she fixed her hair.
"Thank you." She mumbled, not making eye contact with me.
"I'm sorry this is how you had to start off your time at beacon." I sighed.
Your POV
"It's just a bully but thank you, ...what's your name?"
"Oh! Weiss Schnee, of the Schnee dust company." She gracefully bowed and smiled, shaking my hand.
"And you?" Weiss asked,
"I'm (y/n)! It's a pleasure!" I placed a gentle kiss on her hand and her pale face beamed with crimson highlights.
Weiss's POV
"Was I not supposed to do that?" (Y/n) gave me a toothy grin.
"U-Uh..." I was left speechless but she continued talking.
"Anyways, nice to meet you, Weiss! I gotta check out my dorm!" And with that she let go of my hand and sprinted away, waving goodbye.
I cannot even....she was so quick and sweet? Is that a proper way to describe her?
"Looks like the Weiss found another Ice Queen and just for herself." Yang taunted as I turned towards the cafeteria doors to see my team.
"Shut up, you barbaric brawler!" I stomped my foot at her and left for our dorms.
