Trying New Things...

It was dinner time and the girl that chose us, called us in the main area . "Come along children, come along." Everybody else went, but I stayed in my room crying silent tears.  "Where is (Y/N)?" Dan said. "I'll get her." The woman said. I could hear her heels clicking my way. My room door opened and said, "darling, it's dinner time. Come and eat." She told me. "Yes ma'am." I told her. I got up and went to a mirror and made sure that my eyes weren't red. Once the redness went away I went into the kitchen area. I closed my bedroom door and turned around. There was 2 big tables full of food! I stopped and gazed upon it. Everything looked so good. "I see that you found our buffet." The woman reclaimed. "There is so many food, where do I start?!" I told her. "Well everyone else has started, so anywhere I guess." She said. I walked over to the plates. I grabbed one and it was hot! A hot plate! Why?! "Ow!" I said. "What's the matter?" The woman told me. "Why are these plates hot?" I said. "Well they have just been washed. Plus it keeps your food hot longer." She told me. Back in District 1, we had to eat whatever we could find. I would always go hunting to look for some turkeys and deer. I picked up another plate that wasn't so hot and grabbed some food. I grabbed some leg and a brest of a chicken, some weird noodle things that were yellow (mac n cheese) and some thing that looked like potatoes mashed up (mashed potatoes). Back in district 1 we only had meat and that was it. I walked over to the table where everyone was at and sat down. Everyone was eating like they went feed in years. I just sat there, looking at my plate. I sighed and looked out of the window. Trees were going by so fast it gave me a headache, so I looked away. The woman grabbed a chair and pulled it up to the table and sat down. "Honey, you hadn't touched your food, go on and eat." She told me. I just looked at the weird foods that were on my plate. Once everyone was done that stacked their plates up and went to their rooms. I grabbed my plate and went to my room and ate in there. Everything was so tasty and good! I finished the plate in 5 minuets! I put my plate where the rest were and went back in my room. It was dark outside, so I got in my bed and covered myself up and went to sleep, thinking of ways to survive the YouTube Hunger Games.
