A New Style

I'm sleeping in my bed, sleeping peacefully and quiet, until I was awoken by someone saying "guys! We're here! Check this out!" I got up from my bed and slowly walked to Lizzy, she must of said it. Everyone rushed to windows and so did I, and there is was. The big white capitol. The longer I looked at it, the more nervous I got. Everyone has smiles but me, we pulled into this station where there were a lot of people dressed up in super odd and weird outfits. I thought for a second that some of the guys were gay (no hate Against gays🏳️‍🌈). All of the people were waving and congratulating us. They keeps on doing that until the train or whatever it was stopped. The woman that chose us was in a different outfit. "Ah, I see that everyone is enjoying the capitol." She said with a smile. "It's bigger that I expected it!" Callum said. "The people, their waving at us!" Lizzy said. "Their outfits are so fancy, a much different style then from back home!" Dan said. I just started at how fancy everything was. It was much, very much different than home. "Alright everyone off the monorail." Said the woman. "Um, ma'am, what is your name anyway?" Said Callum. "Oh, I forget to introduce myself, my name is Winno Baxwoll, but you can can be Win if you like." She said. "Thanks." Said Callum. The door opened and came a random guy, "it's capitol time." He said. He walked everyone out of the door. I got outside and breathed in the air, it smelled different from the back home. I walked behind Lizzy, so that I wasn't so scared. I could hear people cheering for us. They were saying "congrats!" And "good jobs." It started to confuse me but I kept walking with my group. The man took us to this building where I saw other people getting prim and proper, they must of been chosen from their district. The walk wasn't long. Lizzy, Dan, and Callum went to separate rooms. Then the man showed me mine. There was a young and pretty girl there who waved at me. I waved back at her but didn't pull a smile. "Come on in, we need to get you ready for the big night." She said. The room reminded me of the doctors room that I would always go to (I got sick a lot). I sat in the chair thing and waited for the girls next move. "Ok, can you face that wall? We gotta cut your hair, how do you want it?" She asked me. "Well I always loved the side swoop hairstyle." (scene hair) I told her. "Ok, I'm gonna start with your ends, just face that wall and I'll be done in a min, ok?" She said "ok." I faced the wall, in big letters it had "the capitol" I just stared at it. After a long couple of minuets later, she was finished. "Ok, done, now we need to work on your wardrobe." She said. I was still in my choosing day outfit. I got up from the table and the girl walked me into this room where dresses filled the whole room. We walked and looked around, the girl helped me with some ideas but I liked none of them, I wanted to go with my own style. I looked on the floor and saw an old pair of black compact boots, "these." I said as I pointed to them. "Ummm." She paused. "Well you were the chosen one, so ok." She told me. I smiled and grabbed them. I looked for a dress, but not in any color. The girl helped me, "hey, do you wanna match?" She said. "Yeah why?" U asked her. She pulled out this beautiful black dress with lace at the top. "Perfect." I said with a smile. "I'll get the accessories when your done, ok?" She told me. I nodded my head. "Go change in that room." She pointed to a big room. I started to walk to it. I opened the door and closed it behind me. It took me a min to get dressed, but once I was done I looked in the mirror, I looked so different, but I liked the black on me!

I opened the door and walked out, once the girl saw me, she was in total shock, "that looks so good on you!" She told me.  She gave me some arm glove things, and a necklace. Then I was ready. "Ok let's go find the others. She said as she smiled.
