Chapter 3: Round 1-Ash's Duel

Ash was going through his deck being very excited for his duel. His deck consisted of Black Luster Soldier cards and Gaia the Fierce Knight cards. He went to go to his duel after Serena gave him a good luck kiss and went to see his opponent. A guy in a grey hoodie and jeans walked out onto the other side of the duel field and faced Ash. He didn't seem to look very nice and had a creepy smile plastered on his face.

"Hello there, my name is Chris" Chris creepily introduced.

"Well I'm Ash and I hope we have a great duel" Ash exclaimed.

"We sure will" Chris chuckled.

The two readied their duel disks and started the duel.

Turn 1 (Ash, 8000LP, 6 cards): "I draw, I activate Gateway to Chaos to add Black Luster Soldier: Super Soldier to my hand" "I then summon Mathematician 1500/500 and his effect lets me send a card from the deck to the graveyard so I send Super Soldier Soul to the graveyard" "I then use Soul's effect to add Beginning Knight to my hand, I set a card your move"

Turn 2 (Chris, 8000LP, 6 cards): "My turn, first I activate Gates to the Dark World" "Then I activate Hand Destruction forcing us to discard two cards and draw two more" "Since I discarded Grapha, I can destroy one card on the field so I destroy your trap" "It was Mirror Force" Ash exclaimed. "And since I discarded Beiige, Vanguard of the Dark World 1600/1300, I can special summon him from the graveyard" "I then return him to my hand to special summon Grapha, Dragon Lord of the Dark World 2700/1800" "Also, my fiend type monsters gain 300 attack points thanks to Gates, attack his Mathematician (Ash 8000->6500), I end my turn"

Turn 3 (Ash, 6500LP, 6 cards): "Alright then, I use Gateway's effect to remove 3 counters to add Super Soldier Ritual and activate it to send Beginning and Evening Twilight Knight from my hand to the graveyard to special summon Black Luster Soldier: Super Soldier 3000/2500" "Since Beginning and Evening Twilight Knight were used for the ritual summon, he gains four additional effects" "I use the first to banish Grapha and the second to banish a card from your hand until the end of your turn, attack (Chris 8000->5000), go ahead"

Turn 4 (Chris, 5000LP, 5 cards): "Let's get serious, I activate Dark World Dealings so we draw a card and discard another" "Next, I banish a fiend from my graveyard to discard a card and draw one card via Gate's effect" "Since Beiige was discarded, I can special summon him and return him to bring back Grapha" "Next I activate Foolish Burial to send another Grapha and then I resummon Beiige and return him to summon another Grapha" "My first Grapha K.Os your soldier" "Since my Super Soldier was destroyed, I can special summon a Gaia the Fierce Knight monster so I summon Charging Gaia the Fierce Knight" Ash called out. "Ok then, Grapha destroys you Knight (Ash 6500->5800), I set a card and your turn"

Turn 5 (Ash, 5800LP, 4 cards): "I remove another 3 counters from Gateway to add Super Soldier Synthesis and activate it by sending Manju from my hand and Envoy of Chaos from my deck to summon Super Soldier back" "I attack with him and discard another Envoy of Chaos to give him 1500 more attack 3000->4500/2500" "(Chris 5800->4300) I end my turn and by banishing my two knights, I return an Envoy of Chaos to my hand and add another Ritual spell and Super Soldier"

Turn 6 (Chris, 4300LP, 6 cards): "I summon Beiige and return him to special summon Grapha" "Next, I use Monster Reincarnation to discard my third Grapha and add my other one to my hand" "Then I use his effect to destroy Super Soldier and attack you directly (Ash 5800->2800) your move"

Turn 7 (Ash, 2800LP, 6 cards): "Since you have a monster and I don't, I can special summon Lord Gaia the Fierce Knight 2300/2100" "Then I normal summon Charging Gaia the Fierce Knight but with less attack 2300->1900/2100" "Charging Gaia attacks Grapha and I use Envoy's effect to give it 1500 extra attack 1900->3400/2100 and Lord Gaia attacks directly (Chris 4300->3900->1600) your move"
