Susi Boo and the Missing Shoe
Poor Suzi Boo
Didn’t know what to do!
She had been searching for hours
For her missing shoe.
She looked high and looked low
She looked all around,
But that missing shoe
Just couldn’t be found.
She looked under blankets,
Around corners and more.
She looked under beds
And by the front door.
Then along came Oli Boo
With a “How do you do?”
And Suzi Boo sighed,
“I can’t find my shoe.”
“I’ll help find your shoe,”
Announced Oli Boo.
“And we'll find it indeed,
That’s what brothers do!”
They peered near and peered far
Until it turned night,
But no shoe did they find,
Try as they might.
Just then, little Emmy Boo
Came into sight,
And the Boo siblings thought
“Maybe she’ll help our plight!”
“Have you seen my shoe,
Little Emmy Boo?”
But she shook her head no,
“I haven’t a clue!”
So Suzi Boo, Oli Boo
And Emmy Boo, too,
Went on a hunt
For that missing shoe.
They searched here and searched there
They searched everywhere,
And they just could not make
That darn shoe a pair.
Then Mama Boo spotted
Her troubled Boo crew,
So she asked them,
“Why do you look so blue?”
Suzi Boo cried,
“Oh, Mama Boo!
We have looked, peered and searched,
But we can’t find my shoe!”
Mama looked at her Boos
With a smile on her face.
“Your shoe is missing, you say?
Without a trace?"
“But you don’t wear shoes
You silly Boo!”
So whose shoe is this?
Does it belong to you?
