Beep! beep! Jessica's alarm went off so half asleep, she pulled herself out of bed. Before last night she was beginning to think that Laura had been smart to end her life before highschool. But now unlike any other day, she had a reason to go to school. Two reasons in fact. 1. Matt 2. Jessica. And she wasn't really sure about Kylie yet.
She threw on her jacket before heading out the door.
She parked her cherry red car and set off to look for Isabelle. Fall's leaves danced and twirled in the air before hitting the ground. They crunched under Jessica's feet.
"Hey!"
A smooth, deep, male voice said.
Jessica whirled around to see Matt.
"Hi" she said a smile spreading over her face. She couldn't help it.
"How was the rest of your weekend?"
"Great actually and yours?"
"Pretty good."
"What class do you have next?" Jessica inquired.
"Oh uh math."
Just then the bell buzzed.
"Well I guess I better be going. See you later!"
"Ya nice talking with you."
On the rest of the walk Jessica couldn't get Matt out of her head. In fact, he distracted her for the rest of the day.
Just before the final bell rang, Jessica's teacher came up to her.
"Is there anything wrong jessica? you seem a bit... distracted."
"No just tired"
"Ok hope you get a good sleep"
But Jessica did not have a good sleep at all.
