Lily's POV

I just kept running until I ended up at the old swing park. me and Cory would come here to get away from our parents when they were actually home. I slowly walk over to the swing and sit on it. I put my head on my lap and start bawling my eyes out.

I cry for maybe half an hour Before I hear something. I look up and see Jason standing there with sad looking eyes. I look at him for a minuet then start to cry again. I notice Jason moving to the swing next to mine. We sit there In silence until I brake it.

"You don't have to be here." I whisper, whipping my eyes.

"But I want to be here, it's peaceful." he whispers back.

We sit there in another comfortable silence. I think back to when me and Cory used to come to the park. I start to laugh and Jason looks at me.

" Me and Cory would come here all the time when we were little. There was this one time when we came to the park, there were older boys boys here as well. One of the older boys was being mean to me and pushed to the floor. Cory had noticed and walked up the the guy and punched him in the face." I laugh to myself, remembering when it happened.

" The guy looked like he was going to cry and all his friends looked really shocked.Cory then came over to me, whipped my tears and took me home. We were about 10 when this happened. He practically raised me and now he's gone." I start to cry again.

Jason walks over to me and kneels I front of me. He takes my hands.

"Shhh, everything's going to be alright."

"DON'T TELL ME EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT, BECAUSE ITS NOT." I shout at him.

Jason stands up and looks at me.

"Do you think it was easy growing up with out a mother? At least you got to know Cory." he whispers before turning and walking away. I just sit there, not able to move. I can see Jason in the distant. He suddenly stops and turns around. Me marches up to me and hugs me.

"I'm so so so sorry, I shouldn't have shouted at you. it's not your fault." I whisper as tears spill out of my eyes.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have walked away from you." he whispers back. We just stand there, hugging for what seems like forever until his phone rings.

"Hello" Jason says as he answers his phone.

"Yeah dad, shes with me. Ok. yep. That's ok. I'm sure she'll be fine. ok, bye." he ends the call and looks at me.

"Your mum and dad are going on A business trip with my parents to give you some space. So, you can stay at my house if you want." I smile and we walk back to his car.
