Never Cared
In the end they never cared.
Everything they said was all lies to make you
do what they wanted.
Only wanted you for the
things that they couldn't get from anyone else.
Only wanted you for something so sweet.
And when you give that to them they toss you away.
Throw you away like you are nothing.
Like you are just a piece of trash.
And the sad part is that your feeling for them were so real.
So you keep coming back.
Because that small voice.
That small little piece of hope wants them to be different.
Wants them to not be like everyone else.
You tell your brain they love you.
But the worst part is you know they don't.
You know they never will.
But you keep telling yourself they do.
You to protect you heart by lying to yourself.
