A complex term in itself, dream
they say just a peek of the unconscious mind
but its not real, though at times it must seem
it could be a wish, a fear, or memory on rewind
Some say a dream has a deeper meaning than that
an ethereal prediction of what is to come
or a warning of misfortune, how all will fall flat
only when you wake, will you see what is to become
Weather it's true or false what I saw
I must remain calm, and take deep slow breaths
it was just a dream, no real conclusion can I draw
must just relax, the dream did not predict death
