"Slap me! Slap me right across my face if you don't love me anymore!" Veronica yelled at his soon to be ex-boyfriend.

"I can't." Damien said with a whimper.

"Why not? Huh? Why not?" Veronica said, trying to contain herself from hurting Damien.

"Because I still do. I still love you."

"Then why did you cheat on me? Explain yourself."

"I don't know how it happened. I guess I wasn't aware-"

"You guess?" Veronica laughed, cutting off Damien. "You just guessed."

"Veronica! For one fucking time in your life have some patience and let me finish!" Damien yelled at the top of his lungs.

"Okay. Speak." Veronica replied, coldness in her tone.

"I'm not straight."

A shocked expression covered Veronica's face immediately when she heard those words coming out from Damien's mouth. She knew that Damien cheated on her but another guy was never mentioned.

"You're what?"

"I'm gay. I-I'm sorry"

"You used me as cover-up. You used me to make you look like you're straight but you're not."

"But I broke up with him."

"Just get out of my face you dirty fag."

Damien ran away as far away as possible from that crowd that was surrounding him and Veronica. She was screaming curse words to Damien but he ignored them because he couldn't stand her voice. Tears were welling up in his eyes causing him to trip on some items that were scattered on the floor.

"What a homophobic bitch." Damien cursed under his breath.

A gate of emotions has been opened and it doesn't seem to be closed easily.

His vision was blurry but he can still see clear enough to get out of the building. Moments later, a face collided with his face. They both fell down and started rubbing their heads. Damien had the urge to flee but a body was holding him down anchoring him to the ground.

"I'm sorry." The guy on top of Damien said.

"Well you should be." Damien spat.

"Look, I-"

"Just shut up. Okay?"

Without another single word Damien scurried away from the guy on the ground.

"Oh my God. Nate!" One of the guy's friend came running to him. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. A guy hit my head with his head and then I fell on top of him. Then I apologized to him and he told me to shut up."

"How dare that guy. So what did you say he looked like?"

"I haven't said anything about him yet, Grace."

"I know that's why I am asking you to tell me what he looked like."

"What's up with you and boys?"

"Just tell me."

"Well, he looked like he was crying, he's kind of Hispanic and-"

Grace looked at Nate with a huge grin on her face. Almost as if she was a seven year old girl on a Christmas morning.

"Oh my. It can't be."

"What? What can't be Grace? Answer me." Nate pleaded.

"That guy who ran into you was Damien Judd."
