*Y/n's P.O.V*
So today's the day. The day i am going on a date with Shawn. I was panicking so I called up Amy to come and help me get ready. When she got here she instantly hugged me and we squealed like little girls.
A: I am so happy for you
Y/n: Thank you i am so happy too
We got upstairs to pick my outfit
A: I like this one but maybe not for a date
She holds up a very short purple dress
A: Ooh what about this one?
A long white dress
Y/n: No, how about this one?
I hold up a mid-thigh length navy blue dress that fits nicely on my body
We both stare at it for a while and say in sync
A&Y/n: It's perfect
I get changed and then Amy curls my hair and I do my make up
I finish doing my simple smokey eye and then i take a look in the mirror
A: You look gorgeous
Y/n: Thank you, let's hope Shawn thinks the same
I pair my outfit with simple black heels.
At 5pm Shawn knocks at the door, i'm so nervous but excited at the same time
I open the door and Shawn just stands staring at me
S: Y..you..look stunning
Shawn was wearing black tight dress pants and a white shirt tucked in, he made an extra effort with his hair and he was freshly shaven
Y/n: Thank you so much Mendes, you're not looking too bad yourself
Shawn hold his hand out to lead me to the car
S: Well, come on pretty lady
I take his arm and step out of the house
Y/n: Thank you handsome man
We both admire each other for a bit and then we get in the car and go to the restaurant.
I was so nervous at first but singing in the car with Shawn is so much fun, HE HAS THE BEST VOICE!
Y/n: You can really sing Mendes
S: One of my many hidden talents
He chuckles and his smile beams at me, my heart races out of my chest!
S: You know, after we ate would you like to come back to mine and I'll really sing for you?
Go to his! Meet his family! Wait what?!?!?!?!?!
Y/n: Yes, I'd love too!
We got to the restaurant and Shawn held my hand the whole time, we sat at our seats and the waiter came over to us
W: Good evening, would you like to order drinks
S: We'd love a bottle of Champaign to celebrate this amazing evening and perfect date
A perfect date eh?
W: Certainly sir
We ate and giggled and had such an amazing time together, I am so in love with him. Is this moving too quickly?
Whilst walking to the car we took a little detour
S: Just around the corner there's a beautiful lake, you wanna see?
Y/n: Well of course i do Mendes, anything to spend more time with you
S: Aren't you just the cutest
We sat on a bench a few metres away from the lake side, the beautiful motions of the water glistened and reflected off of Shawn's face
S: Can i kiss you?
Y/n: Ye....
Before i could even answer he swooped me up in his arms, pulled me close and kissed me.
His lips were so gentle yet so firm
I rested my hand on his neck to deepen the kiss
S: Wow
Y/n: What?
I was grinning so much i must have looked crazy
S: You don't even know how long I've wanted to do that
Y/n: You don't know how long I've wanted that!
I mocked him slightly but he looked down and blushed intensely
S: You wanna go back now its kinda cold
We stood up and walked back to the car, Shawn rested his jacket over my shoulders, it smelt amazing
On the way back home we jammed out to music and Shawn danced so silly
Y/n: You're quite the dancer
S: Learnt from the best
He looked directly at me and pointed
Y/n: I'm not that bad am I?
S: Aye! You think my dancings bad!
Shawn pulled his lower lip out and gave me such adorable puppy eyes
Y/n: Oh stop you're just trying to get sympathy by being cute
S: You think I'm cute?
Y/n: Yeah i guess haha
Shawn placed his hand on my thigh, close to my knee and smiled gently
I reflected his smile and closed my eyes as the breeze from the window brushed past my face and made my hair dance with such rhythm
I'm so nervous to go to his house!
