A Never Ending Love Story

Part 5:

*Y/n P.O.V*
The rest of the week was the same, me and Shawn walking home together and sitting together in class. Amy has been leaving us to walk alone which I appreciate. One of the popular girls now hates me but to be honest I don't car at all they're all just jealous.
It's now Saturday morning, i wake up with a text from Shawn saying "Got any plans?xx" I reply saying "No, why?xx" Then I get a FaceTime from Shawn. My heart starts to race, i've just woke up. I look horrible. I can't just not answer though.
I press accept however my face isn't on the screen
S: Good morning sunshine
Shawn is in bed shirtless with a huge smile on his face, he's too adorable
Y/n: Hey Mendes
S: Why's your face not on the screen?
Y/n: I look ugly, i've just woke up
S: You're never ugly you're beautiful
WHAT! I swear he is gonna kill me
Y/n: Mendes you are so sweet, thank you
S: C'mon then show me your pretty face
I put my face on the screen even though i'm blushing immensely
S: There you are
We both just sit and smile at each other for a minute
Y/n: Anyways no i don't have any plans
S: Well now you do
Y/n: What?
S: How does frozen yogurt sound?
Y/n: It sounds perfect
S: Good, i'll pick you up at 1pm okay?
Y/n: Yeah that's okay
We end up talking to each other on FaceTime until 12pm
Y/n: Oh jeez its 12 I better get in the shower
S: Oh god yeah me too
We end the FaceTime call and I get in the shower.
Because it was hot outside I wore some light blue denim shorts and a white crop top that flows with some white converse. My hair was down and curly and i put on some simple make up.
When it was 1 i heard the door knock and my heart started beating out of my chest.
I opened the door
Y/n: Hey Mendes
S: Oh hi sunshine, you look beautiful
Y/n: Why thank you Mendes
S: C'mon lets go
We walk to the frozen yogurt place and order our food
Whilst we were eating Shawn got some yogurt on his nose
Y/n: Haha now look who's the one with food on their face
S: Hey! Haha
His laugh is so perfect
S: Will you get it for me?
Y/n: Of course Mendes
I reach forward and wipe the yogurt off of his nose
S: Thanks beautiful
Y/n: You're welcome Mendes
We finish eating our food and we start to walk to the park
When we get to the park we lay down on the grass and look at the clouds
S: It's a beautiful day
Y/n: Yeah i know
Shawn pulls me into a hug so my head is on his chest, this is a dream come true
I can hear his heartbeat and i can feel his breath, i have never felt so save in my whole life.
We lay there for a long time savouring the moment but then we decide to go home.
When we're walking home Shawn keeps looking down and it starts to worry me but then he grabs my hand and holds it, we walk home together like a couple.
S: I really enjoyed today
Y/n: Me too
We both smile at each other
S: Y/n could I take you on a date tomorrow night?
Y/n: Yeah that would be amazing!
S: I recon we should go somewhere fancy
Y/n: I might not be able to afford it
S: Well since i'm asking you on a date i think i should pay
Y/n: Really!
S: Yes of course sunshine
Y/n: Thank you Mendes
I was so caught up in the moment I kissed him on the cheek and to my surprise he smiled and blushed.
