Some of this is basically copy-pasted from the flashback chapters of my story Fifth Marauder, but not a lot. Some chapters will be like that when I can do it. But most of the chapters will be new material, especially when filling in "gaps". Hope you guys enjoy! Let me know what you think! :)

Reagan Potter pursed her lips, assessing her reflection in the hall mirror.
"Reagan," her older brother James groaned, "you look fine! Let's go!"
She huffed, turning around to face him. "You're a boy! You don't understand! My hair needs to look good or my first day is ruined!"
James rolled his eyes. "It will not!"
"Will to!"
"Will not!"
"Children!" Their mum scolded, arms crossed as she stared disapprovingly down at her children. "Come on now, no arguing on the first day. Or it will be ruined! Now let's go! Or you'll miss the train!"
"Yes mum!" They chimed together, scurrying down the stairs, James behind Reagan.
"Ready, kids?" Their father asked, waiting next to the fireplace.

Fleamont Potter gestured for his children to come closer, holding the pot of floo powder down so James could reach in.
"You two go first," their father said, watching as James and Reagan stepped into the fireplace. "And James?"

"I won't lose her this time. Promise," he said, glancing down at Reagan, who was looking up at him with an eyebrow raised. "Promise!" He insisted.
"Alright. Go ahead. Wait for us!" Euphemia called as James threw down the floo powder, calling out:
"King's Cross!"
With a gut-tugging feeling, Reagan soon found herself standing before the Hogwart's Express, surrounded by a bunch of kids her age and older, dressed in billowing robes and pushing trolleys along.
Euphemia and Fleamont stood behind their children, watching as Reagan assessed the train station, a bright light in her eye.
"James! You're squishing my hand!" She complained, attempting to wiggle her fingers in her older brother's grip.
He immediately loosened his grip. "Sorry, Rea," he said, smiling sheepishly.
She just rolled her eyes jokingly at her brother, tucking her black hair behind her ear. Her blue eyes flashed up to the windows of the scarlet train, impatient to climb aboard.
"When can we get on, James? There'll be no seats left soon!"
James glanced down at his younger sister. "After we find-"
