Friday came as quick as you could say “Luke Brooks the Sex God”. I finally found out his last name. It was just as beautiful as his first.

Today I was set to be a tour guide for Luke and his friends. I got Zara to tag along because, to be honest, I was scared to be alone with Luke. Even though he was the new guy, I felt like he had the upperhand. He was hotter and infinitely more intimidating, even though once you got to know him he was the sweetest boy you’d ever meet.

Even though I’d only known the guy for five days, he already felt like a good friend. I met Jai on Wednesday, turns out he was in my lunch. I’ve heard a lot about Beau, Daniel, and James and I was really excited to meet them. From what I heard, they’re just about the craziest boys ever.

School had just ended minutes ago and Zara and I were walking to my car.

“Where’s Lottie?” Zara asked out of the blue.

“Off with her friend, doing who knows what,” I shrugged, climbing into the driver’s seat of my car.

I started the car and made my way to my house. I lived only a few streets down, so the ride wasn’t long at all. We arrived within a few minutes and walked into the house and up to my bedroom.

“So, what time are we meeting your lover?” Zara winked before fixing her hair in my mirror.

“In an hour. And by the way, he isn’t my lover; he’s my friend,” I corrected, plopping on my bed.

I half wished that my words weren’t true.

Before I knew it, we were in my car on the way towards Luke’s house. Needless to say, I was nervous to see him outside the school. “Why Ava?”  you may ask. Well, I don’t have an answer for you. I tried to convince myself that he was just like any other boy, but I couldn’t no matter how hard I tried. The was something about him that was so different.

We quickly arrived at their house and I looked to examine it as I parked. It was huge. It looked about three stories tall with balconies, a beautiful garden, the whole lot.

“This place is gorgeous,” I gaped, getting out of the car and walking to stand by Zara.

“Why thank you!” a familiar voice called out from one of the balconies.

I looked to see none other than Luke standing there, waving with the biggest smile on his face.

Sure, the house was gorgeous, but not as gorgeous as that boy.
