You stood in a world of red, blue, black, and grey. Reality seemed to shift with each small movement you made--or, could make. You felt like you were frozen in time. Your memories were fuzzy, and you couldn't quite remember what you had been doing before you arrived in this strange wasteland.
"So, you've arrived." A smooth voice whispered into your ear. You gasped, eyes going wide, as if you were a deer in front of headlights.
"I've been waiting for you..." static pounded your skull as a dark shape emerged from in front of you. He had a bit of a scruff on his face, as well as dark hair that covered part of his forehead. Bags were visible under his somewhat gorgeous eyes. A smile was plastered onto his face as well. He was wearing what looked to be a formal suit. It was as if he had dressed up for this.. But, what WAS this?
It came flooding back.
You giggled as Mark brushed some hair behind your ears.
"Now I can see your pretty face! Your handsome face... I love spending time with you," he mused, leaning against his seat. The two of you were at a park, sitting on a bench as you watched children run around. You smiled at him as you put your head on his shoulder.
"Hey, Y/N..." You looked up at Mark, who was giving you... The look. After a few moments of staring at each other, you leaned in to kiss him.
"NO!" A voice similar to Mark's screamed in your ear. You yelped, jumping backwards. The Mark that you'd been about to smooch had disappeared--so had everyone else. You looked around wildly, trying to find the source of the strange voice. Then, your vision faltered, and you blacked out.
The touch of his hand brought you back.
"W-why are you doing this--" You stammered, a quiver brushing over your lips. The man in the dark suit stood before you, a cold hand on your cheek. You shuddered.
"He doesn't deserve you. Your precious lips, your soft skin... He doesn't deserve it," the man growled, his image flickering only for a moment. The world blurred, and you were filled with a nauseating pain in your head. When you could see the world again, things had changed.
You were sitting down, on a couch. You looked around, your head still pounding. You were in a small room with white, bare walls, and grey carpet. An even smaller tv sat in front of you, it's blank screen filling you with zero comfort. In the reflective surface, you saw yourself--and, someone else.
He ran his fingers through your hair.
"I could give you so much more then he could." His deep voice echoed in your mind as he sweetly played with your (H/C) locks.
"Our days would be filled with marvelous adventure, and things he could never show you, or do to you. Our nights would be filled with red wine and anything you would ever desire from this world..." you felt his grip on your arm tighten. You quickly shook your head. You told yourself you didn't want this, but... The desire in your pounding heart couldn't be denied.
"(Y/N)... I love you, I love you. Isn't that what you wanted to hear...?" His lips brushed against your cheek.
"I love you more then HE ever could..." you felt yourself sink into his grip, and suddenly, the seat under you disappeared. Instead, the man with the dark hair was holding you bridal style in his arms. His face was so close, you could feel his bread against your lips.
Then, he leaned in, and kissed you. Your body felt numb--you couldn't control yourself. Your hands wrapped around his neck as you began to kiss him back. Loud static continuously filled your ears, and your head still ached with pain that you had never felt before. Yet...
"You don't need family, friends, or anyone else. All you need is me..." He assured you gently.
"I don't need anyone else..." You whispered. You then fell into a deep... deep... sleep....
