I grabbed the gun Niall kept in his bedside drawer. Everyone thought I was dead. Allowing them to see me would ruin everything. I quietly crept out of the bedroom and headed for the stairs.

I didn't see anything so I continued down. I heard some yelling coming from the direction of Niall's office.

"Niall stop!" I heard a male voice yell as I got closer.

I peaked into the room to see Niall pinning Ashton, one of Luke's men, on the floor.

"No! You leave me and Vanessa alone or else! Ashton I swear to god I'll fucking kill you!"

"Niall she needs to know the fucking truth!" Then I heard a hit.

"Would you fucking stop hitting me and let me fucking talk!" Ashton yelled.

"Why should I do that! You fucking broke into my house tried to shoot me when I caught YOU searching through my shit!"

"Because we need to tell Vanessa!"

"Vanessa doesn't need to fucking find out shit."

What don't I know? I'm so confused. Niall tells me everything.

"Yes she does! She has every right to know! It's her life! Her family!"

"Her finding out will ruin everything. You need to get the fuck out now."

"Niall I'm trying to fucking help! I'm so fucking sick of hiding all of Luke's secrets!"

"So why tell Vanessa? So she can go to him?"

"No, so she can realize the fucking monster he is trying to kill her!"

"She already knows he's a monster. Luke is psychotic, end of discussion."

"Please just tell her."

"No."

"Why not?" Ashton said.

"Because like I said before, her finding out will ruin everything."

What the actual fuck is happening right now?

"Niall, Vanessa was adopted and she doesn't even know it and she's like what 23? She needs to know."

I mean I do look nothing like my family, I kinda just assumed.

"Vanessa does not need to know Luke is her brother ok?"
