Prologue

I always wished for powers. Sadly, that got me into this mess.

When I was in 5th grade, I always dreamed of able to do something others can't. Powers. I'm 15 in 8th grade in a new school. Okay, I'll start from the beginning.The very beginning.

chapter 1

6th grade

I sat there waiting for the bell to ring, brrrrring!!!!! I rush outside to meet my friends.

"Hey Catherine where you been ?" Emily asked

"Dunno" I replied

We strolled down the street telling each other about our day.

We stopped in front of my house I said a goodbye and went in. I settled at my desk and pulled out my homework.I heard my mom yell "Dinner!!!" and I realized how long I been working and there was absolutely nothing on my blank page. I rushed out of the room, to the dinner table.Ten minutes later, I got up put my dishes in the sink and left.

That night I couldn't fall asleep. So I got up and went to my window I saw shooting star soar across the night sky. Naturally I made a wish. I wish I had powers. After that I finally fell asleep.
