kidnapped

Its almost spring break and Emily already left so I'm walking home alone today. I thought about last night, I wonder if my wish would come true. I took out my phone and decided to call my mom.

"hello"

"hey mom"

"yes"

"I'm a little out of my mind, I'll be at the park for a little while."

"okay just remember to come home in time for dinner!"

Then I shut down my phone and kicked a rock across the street,and slowly followed it.

When I got to the other side sat down at a bench and then started staring at the street. A car stopped in front of me a boy around the age of 16 came out. I paid no attention to him. Then he dragged me into his car and drove off.

I was in this house not bonded no ropes no anything. The kidnapping boy was talking to a girl about my age.I squinted is that Emily ?

"do you think she is one?"

"well if she she would have morphed by now"

I stood up and confronted . "what are you guys talking about?"

"you're awake"the kidnapping boy snickers

"I need to tell you this, Catherine we're different or special. As you could put it. We have each have a different power inside of us."

"WHAAAAAAAAAT" I shrieked "Emily?"

" Catherine, calm down, this is Shade. One of our best fighters an-"

I cut her off " fighters? "

" yesssss, fighters " she says obviously annoyed

" I need to go" inching slowly to the exit

" oh bye see you at school!" Emily cheerfully dismissed me.

I turn around and bolt out the door.

I burst through the door gasping for air. I had ran all the way home. I saw my mom typing furiously on the computer, I peek over her shoulder The computer was showing the email screen,she was typing a letter to uncle Frank. She turned around and slightly jumped when she saw me. She started to look nervous.

" umm- Catherine, you see... I got a long business trip starting next week...."my mom said

" Well, soooooo what's the point?" I asked getting a little nervous.

"I will be at France for the next three years" she mumbles.

" whaaaaaaaaat "I shriek for the second time of the day

"Yes, I am sending you to uncle Frank's house for the next three years"
